Are there any HOMM 2 Gold Mods?
i so love this caroonish, momumental game. i really want more of it, and the price of loyalty doesn't give enough of this more.
is there any mod?

There is a balance mod, and with a bit of hex editing, You can even make your own  Don't expect something like WoG though, value editing is the most one can do with H2.

Never heard of a finished H2 mod apart from balance mod. THe game doesn't have that many attention like H3

Not quite the same thing, but You might want to check this project out. It basically tries to convert H3 into H2 with a few extras.

Galileo, i play with a widescreen, my resolution is 1920X1080. in the Free Heroes2 engine, everything looks so small on my screen (while windowed), and it seems that fullscreen isn't an option.
did it happen 2 u 2?

Is there an easy way to get this to work? I have it on my phone, from the play store, and its amazing, i just dont know how to make it work on my pc. Maybe im just a noob?
But I really want to recommend it for smart phones! It adds a lot of features, that in my opinion makes the game even better than the original.

Hi.
I've just downloaded the patch, Black Dragons and Titans alone seemed just stupidly powerful compared to others.
Unfortunately, I just can't get it to work.
"Running the application failed, couldn't find smackw32.dll"
I have Heroes 2 Gold freshly downloaded from Good Old Games.
Does anyone have any idea what to do here?

How come there are so many HoMM 3 mods but not really any HoMM 2 mods? I know there's a lot more options for HoMM 3, but still. I love HoMM 2, but it's so annoying that Dimension Door is completely bonkers and mainly because you can teleport to places that would be impossibly to teleport to in HoMM 3. There's no way you can prevent this other than having towns only and no castles so you don't have level 5 mage guilds. Also, just monster rebalancing would be exactly what the game needs.
I know there's a HoMM 3 mod based on HoMM 3 but it just doesn't have the same feel to it for me.
