Escanaba made the news!
Another reason why I hate living here. First degree criminal sexual conduct, first degree child abuse, and torture of a 15-year-old boy by his mother and her boyfriend.
I am thankful, however, that I've never delt with either party and I'm not on the court appointment list. It certainly would be fun to be empaneled for the case. Too bad both defense attorneys know me and would promptly kick a lawyer off the jury.

I can relate. In this country pedophiles and child abusers spend at most around 7 years in jail since they're ALWAYS timid, so rarely cause trouble in prison, which means they are let out early. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT REFORMED! I've watched a **** tonn of documentaries on the subject, these people are not repentant, their only sin is getting caught.
I do not believe that anyone is beyond redemption, but they have to want it, from what I've seen in most cases this is not so.

Come to Spain. Here the maximun time in jail is 30 years not matter how many the person was sentenced. But that's not all, if they don't cause trouble in jail they get years reductions of their sentence....reduction applied to the 30 max years, not the real number of the sentence!!
We've seen terrorist who had been sentenced to hundreds of years to be free 15-17 years later. It's so absurd

In France we had the famous Outreau process where several adults were found guilty or sexual assault on minors and spent many years in jail, some even committing suicide. Then, when older, the minors admitted they invented the whole thing to gather attention. Now imagine if they were executed...

If they were found guilty of the crime it isn't the brat's fault, it was miscarriage of justice. Here we had some poor bloke spend 20 years in jail because the police persuaded him to admit to a crime he hadn't committed on the promise that he can go home if he did.

So that's why we should kill every pedophile in our society?
Don't get me wrong, I don't want to defend these kind of people, yet I wonder when pedophilia became worse than raping and murdering adults in our society... It's just sick for me.

I said I can relate to the statement, not that I agree with it wholeheartedly. We are each individuals, to say that every pedophile should be sent straight to the chopping block is ludicrous, hence why I admire my country's judiciary, since it rejects government proposals aimed at having minimal sentences for certain crimes.

There is a good movie on the subject of pedophiles,called "Are All Men Pedophiles?".
It is made in 2012 and shows reasons why this kind of criminals is multiplying and the hypocrisy of the society,which in fact incourages such kind of urges.

Being sexually abused is horrible enough but this boy had to face a lot more than that. Like -torture-. But as SEX overrides all other interests as usual and that is being at the spotlight here.

Just an FYI, finding a 15-year-old attractive is not a psychiatric disorder or any other kind of disorder.
Societal perceptions on pedophilia are very likely to somewhat change going into the mid 21st century as people start to come terms with the realities of human sexuality and just how malleable it really is.

You just don't understand the movie genres of Exploitation and/or Empowerment. If you had watched it further you would see the movie hardly takes itself seriously. Except the Nazi Zombies part. That. Is. Some. Snowing. Serious. Business.
