Compare these two:
+ 1 more health
+ 1 more defence
+ 1 less might requirement
+ 2 less resource cost
+ completely immune to spells
+ easier to obtain, rare, not epic
- doesn't have Enrage 2
Balanced...? I don't like how the new cards absolutely overpower the old ones.

To be honest, there are a little bit more advantages of the Wyvern Rider, for example, Wyvern Rider is a flyer, that it advantage by itself considering the positioning etc. Also, Magic resist also works against Magic Creatures, Enemy Spell Ward doesn't.
But I get your point, and I would agree with it if we are talking about Stronghold cards, but take a look at the creatures from other factions. They are strong, but they aren't THAT stronger than the creatures from Void Rising and Vanilla Duel of Champions.
If anything, I would call Stronghold's new creature overpowered, Blackskull Cyclop, Blackskull Spellsmasher, Blackskull Crusher, Blackskull Centaur and Blackskull Shredder really look a lot better than most of old Stronghold's creatures, I would say a lot better than most creatures in the game.

If I had a might hero I wouldn't give a crap about the BH crusher but wyvern rider.. Scary.. Very different purposes to directly compare. The new centaurs seem rather similar to hellfire cerberi except they can attack the life points and don't care about being blocked. Sounds pretty decent but dies instantly to sunburst and swarm.. Spell smasher is awesome for what he does but otherwise a more expensive lamasu.. Shredder we'll have to wait and see, seems to requite a lot of support.

I think that for every day you log in, you will increase the rewards to the following day. I don't think it has to be consecutive days, in other words Day 7 isn't necesarily the 7th week day, but YOUR 7th day of logging on.
Those Blackskull creatures are hot but do need alot of resources to bring them to the field....fortune cards should be used feeding resource growth to your hands to be massively effective....

Agreed, I think that he is underestimating Enrage 2 a lot.

You'd probably want to compare the Wyvern rider with the Bloodcrazed wyvern. The new orc creatures seem great for a might/foortune deck. I'm sorry we didn't get a,new creature with enrage.

And I think people generally believe Stronghold is just about Kelthor and his Enrage ability.

Many do but those wyverns do not need Kelthor to be formidable. Enrage 2 is downright scary, hard to face them head on. They would be sweet with earthquake but then same goes for the new wyverns. And now we have ways of boosting might fast..

You can even use the Forbidden Flame with 4 Magic level, and do 8 damage to all creatures, but your Wyverns will still be alive.
Blackskull Crushers would die though. That would still need for a high might and medium high magic level hero, but it is still possible.

Well, again, the description is a little bit confusing. Is it the damage of ALL spells, and effects of just enemy spells that he is immune to?
Edit: Just for clarification, I was thinking that Stronghold hero could use Forbidden Flames and wipe the field, but his Wyverns will survive, unlike his Blackskull Crushers.

Some interesting facts
All factions have 13 new cards (1 hero , 8 creatures, 4 fortune)
Except for stronghold who has only 3 fortune and but 9 creatures
Kitten Warrior may be a joke, but it is the only creature which does not need any might....

I don't even think it is a joke. I mean, yes, it seems almost useless at first, but it can still be buffed or can be used as suicide unit to get Enrage counters for other creatures.
Elvin what do you think about this and about new cards overall? Any deck you will try out, and what do you think about each faction's new cards?

I am pretty satisfied. There is a counter for everything, failsafes against hoarding cards in your hand, easy ways of increasing your might and protecting your fatties from removal, epics are not ridiculously powerful, board control is possible through units.. They have even taken care to avoid armageddon tactics (as neither martyr nor BS crusher will protect you from your own nukes) and unique cards can no longer be recycled. Perhaps not what everyone was expecting but I find this a good step in the right direction.
I haven't made any deck plans, I'll wait to open my two boxes first.

Yeah, similar to my way of thinking(even though I have limited knowledge about the decks since I didn't play that many games, but still some are rather obvious), but I like to overhype some cards. xD
And yeah, monster control is probably what I like the most.

Dhamiria – would you use her?
If you compare these two cards above, I would not use this hero when you can use Void Rift.
Even though you only have a possible 4 uses with the card, would you use this ability more than 4 times in a duel?
Also, Void Rift has many positives above Dhamiria’s special:
- costs 1 less resource
- can also choose from creature cards
- takes same cards away from battlefield too (not just hand)
Inferno faction is the card manipulation faction big time.
With the discard abilities from Chaos Lacerator, Chaos Seer, Chamber of Dementia & Void Judgment they can deplete opponents hands quite well (not to mention Void Arbiter & Halls of Inertia’s outside supply phase abilities).
Great combo for fortunes (especially against OTK decks):
Void Rift + Void Judgment
Maybe as Inferno one could ignore spells and go creatures & fortunes only?

Agreed pointless use then, Garant would be the go to guy if you are looking for the might/ fortune build, chatting with double it seems Inferno is going to power up in limiting other players with card choice.
On a side note, Orcs have received some really powerful cards, high resource value, however with some new fortunes and some old card reducing resource amount required - the threat becomes greater.
