I'm really appreciate for this guide, it helped me achieve elo 1000, and answered many questions. I'm new to cards games and have around 40 hours of play (steam). I bought a box and many reinforcements pack (as pointed on first page of the guide  ). 2xPao, 1xDA and Kelhtor with Wildcards. I've little 560 cards, 55000 gold and 1610 seals.
I'm a little bit confused, should I buy Road to Paris deck for 1775, second box, or wait for box set 2? Should I invest more with reinforcements pack or it is good time for expansion pack?

That's good to hear More cards from the base set are always good though the road to Paris is a very solid deck and I'd recommend it if you like that kind of gameplay. It has some very good cards that might take a while to gather otherwise. As for the second set.. there is no telling how good it will be or how expensive. New sets tend to be pretty costly and only purchasable via seals and I do not recommend that for beginners who are already missing many of the previous cards. On the other hand the second set is supposed to reorganize a part of the existing cards(from all expansions) along with some new cards so it might be a good option for you.

There are so many options I would like to try  Thank you for suggestions, the problem with Road to Paris, which is so tempting, is that, I would like to play Inferno too. But for that option I've limited cards  And it would be wise to buy the box. Any idea when second box could appear?

Hmm yes. But apart from units you also need spells, like firebolt/inner fire/town portal, maybe fireball. Until you collect the cards for a good deck, you are not going to have consistent victories in jackpot/swiss and that is why I suggested the Acamas deck. You might be missing the creator's experience but it would help you develop faster.
There is no set date for the next set release, usually it is announced one month earlier.

But you have a good point there. With better deck, consistent victories I would develop faster. The problem is that variety of games, would make this game even more interesting.
BTW which faction did you start your adventure with DoC?

You are pretty alright then, a classic inferno rush doesn't need to go above 4/3/1. Even if you add fireballs, 2 are enough. What you are really missing is juggernauts though, they are wonderful for early pressure. Maybe a few ravagers but they are not really required, only lvl 4 you need is lilim. Some DA can help too.

Forgot to say, I started with inferno.

Theoretically Juggernauts cost 1xWildcard, I've 10 of them. DA costs 8xWildcards, pretty expensive though. But if I don't get any Inferno hero with packs/boxes, I will have to buy one with Wildcards.
So having that knowledge and thiese resources:
any recommendation regardless packs? [rolling_eyes]

Good guide. I did what I wanted and bought new expansions with my gold and seals and I was mistaken. Should have bought the basic cards instead.
Suggestions I would like Elvin to add in his guide :
A very quick run down of cards found in every expansions. Like, 1-2 lines per and explain which xpac got most sanctuary and academy cards, and that those should be avoided at first because you dont get much cards of the other factions in them.
Tell people to not burn their excess cards at the infernal pit as long as they didnt unlock expansion cards at the altar of wishes, because you need 200 cards of each expansion to unlock the stuff... *slaps forehead*.

Unique cards rule modified
Starting today, Unique cards that are played or destroyed are now banished instead of going to the graveyard.

Soooooooo..... I heard this is the right place for asking for advice.
I bought a DoC 2 deck and a HoN deck so far. I'm tending to make a vampire deck but not so sure how, and not so sure why either. It's just that I got that badass Death Lord and I like the creature and hero regen.
So I wanna ask you guys for advice on 2 things: What to buy next, and if the vampire deck is a good strategy.

I hope by deck you mean pack. Never. Ever. Buy decks. I have no experience with a full vampire deck but I know this. You'd need Sveltana and many of the new vampire units to make your deck viable. In some previous set I was buying packs for months and only got 2 chaos lacerators that were only uncommon. Do not count on getting what you want from random packs. I still believe you should focus on base set 2 decks.

Ranked duels are the core of the game. You should give it a try at least, and with time, it will become the main occupation in game.
Keep in mind that you can finish campaign levels with multiple factions, and once each level is completed with all 6 you get a pack of cards, for a total of 25 packs for full campaign pass.

Different rules apply in higher levels. Beginners are not good at handling such creatures
