Zenofex has been issued a penalty in the Materialism thread for a third violation of the code of conduct.
Another reminder:

Insult is a remark that undermines another person. A simple way to avoid insulting people is to discuss their actions and opinions rather than their personality. For example: instead of saying who they are ("you suck" or "you are an idiot") say what you think about their opinions/actions and why ("Your post about me is wrong because I never said that heroes 4 is a bad game" or "I disagree with your opinion because centaurs have more hit points than gnolls"). This simple rephrasing strategy can resolve many conflicts and fights before they even happen, both online and in life.
Racism is any remark that associates negativity with a person or group of people based on their nationality, ethnicity, religion, race, place of origin, or skin color. Sexism is any remark that associates negativity with a person or group of people based on their gender or sexual orientation.

Artu has been issued a penalty for insulting other members in the "Interesting Articles" thread.
For your reference, there is a handy link to the Code of Conduct under the "FAQ/Rules" tab at the top of the page. Please have a careful read of point one, where the policy of mutual respect is explained as it pertains to insulting and undermining other community members. It is fine to criticize other members' posts and arguments, but when you start serving up vitriol about their intelligence and related personal attributes, this is a crossing of the line.

I gave a +QP to markkur in the Christianity thread.
Markkur has been due for one for a while for his constant thoughtful sharing. Nice work markkur! 
Less good is frostysh's continued disregard for the Code of Conduct. I issued frostysh a second penalty for practically the same insult that earned him one just a few days ago. Please study the forum rules, frostysh, which start with respect for your fellow community members and their forum contributions.

As a reminder, the Code of Conduct does not allow you to insult other members. If you can't discuss politics in a friendly manner, then I suggest you stick to subjects that don't arouse such anger.
UPDATE: fred has been penalized again, as well as silenced for two weeks, for continued infractions of the Code of Conduct. Again, please take the time to read the Code of Conduct, particularly the part about respecting fellow members. This includes the moderators.
