I wont buy H6 until academy is added
does that make me evil ??? 
I really wish they add academy its the only faction I play ever since I stumbled on H3 long ago (was it called castle or tower back then)
until then i will sit and wait :'<

Yes, i think a lot of us miss some of the originals...
This is the first heroes ever without some of the original monsters. ie Treants, Hydras, we even had to wait for the expansion for Dragons.
and yes no Titans... which have been there since HOMM II

I would expect so. They already said in interviews "Despite a changing PC market, Heroes VI performed well, and even exceeded our expectations in some area", so no reason to give up on the series right now.

Just wish for a new Heroes sequal instead with those factions instead. Atm H6 feels a tad too broken to bother with.
Just play H3 or H5 with expansions until then.

You shouldn't buy it anyways
Heroes 6 is a major dissapointment; doesn't feel like HoMM at all

The pc market right now is make free to play games, and then slowly feed new premium content for money.
I fear that homm7 might be a 2 faction game based on online duels with bimonthly dlc's adding new faction spells, neutral, campaigns etc. ( sorta like aoe online is - pay to win central)

Sad but true, i really wish they just made an expansion for HoMM5, except for rushing into a dissapointment what h6 prooved to be ( i mean litteraly i can't think of anything that h6 is better at than h5 ), I quit Heroes for years after h5, but now i heard of h6 and i was like omg is this real ? i Got it , played it, and after few crashes, and annoyment i didn't even last 48 hours, and i deleted the game from my PC...., I think the new H5 expansion should have included Naga(sanctuary like current H6) , and ofc rebalance of skills and stuff, new abilities, i mean h5 was great as a base for new expansion, and what they did ? they went from a near pefect game in h5 ToTe to a full of bugs/glitches, UNinteresting game, that uses 2D graphics in Town Overview... Wooptey dooh !

I really believe that Heroes 6 hasn't been abandoned. If any of you fellow players have noticed, Heroes online is coming soon plus Might and Magic X has Just arrived. I think after heroes online fully releases that they will go back and release another expansion for heroes 6. In their last announcement it was stated that the team was pulled to help with other might and magic products. I'm going to speculate that it was MMX and Heroes Online so hopefully we'll be seeing something in the near future.

Yeah that is the exact announcement I've read. Online Support isn't necessarily the same as game development(expansion development, the next "patch" would be apart of the next expansion release so a constant online support makes sense to be on hold). I mean read it again, is there something wrong with the thought of them coming back to it? What I mean by that is.. is the same team that was "moved onto other projects that require full attention" the same team that has been helping develop heroes online and MMX? which are obviously the "other" Might and magic products that required help at the time of that post, or has an announcement be stated that they ARE DONE with this game completely. It even states when the time comes they hope you come back.
Now from what was announced another expansion is not ruled out unless there is something else not mentioned that was stated in an interview or something. This also is just being hopeful that it is not a publicity stunt that wants to mislead people into hope for more content. PLEASE direct me to any interviews that state moving onto HoMM7 or Dropping 6 completely.
BUT from what that says....
-MMX and Heroes Online are the obvious games that needed attention
- Hint they be back to Heroes 6 (or just a new heroes game in general)
- No more ONLINE support, which is not the same as GAME DEVELOPMENT which is what an expansion would be.

The same team? They should be refering to the Ubisoft team, which only takes part on the lore, story, etc...nothing on developing the game.
Black Hole Entertainment, developers of Heroes 6, are gone.
Limbic Entertainment, who worked on the post-release patch proccess, they've been working on M&MX.
Virtous, the team who worked in the expansion, well...let's say they aren't a long term plan
Everything I've seen from Ubisoft and from VIP fans goes towards a future H7.
Heroes 6 is dead, imo.
