Dark knight mod Alternative upgrade.
I am not the creator of this mod but i really like it and want a proper alternate upgrade in TOTE( it will ultimately replace banshees). Consider this a challenge to the modders to come up with the most creative, balanced dread knight alternate upgrade. come up with creative abilities, (i would like to see death blow from HOMM3) names and appearances. That's a supergreat idea man, Dread knights where always my favourite creature, but i dunno H5 lineup seems not bad, Wights looks awesome too, altough they lack specials (and their upgrades too), they kinda fit in current Necropolis, also if that happens, i would like Black Knight basic upgraded into DRead/DEath... with above average stats for level 6 creature, and bone dragons with slightly reduced stats...like in h3

I'm afraid this would have had more success 3 or 4 years ago...I think you'll be lucky if someone do it

Why, to be honest, I didn't play for years, i started now, i got H6 played it, and i was really really dissapointed at the game - full of bugs, crashes, graphics are not built good, skills and abilities are not interesting and boring, I played some time but i quit, and got H5 again, and i was a lot more interested and played a lot more. IMO H5 ToTe > H6 SOD, they should have made a new expansion for H5 , rather than to rush for a dissapointment what H6 is (at least for me, that's my opinion) personally...

I also agree that H5 >>>> H6. BUT, most of the communtity move away - say to other games, H6, etc.. - and only a few remain here.
There was a lot of activity here until a few years ago. But now...

yep man, sad but true, i was here too in 2007-08, but i quit too....
Btw, man i have a little question, altough it's not entirely on topic, it's not offtopic too i guess
Ok so here it is, i have been editing stuff lately on my ToTe(creature stats, adding more abilities to creatures, spicing things up, making it more interesting etc.. ) I have this problem
I can't seem to make unupgraded cyclops use Goblin Thrower, i mean it works, but effect is kinda buggy, i mean first they dissapear, for few seconds, than they shoot kinda weird and with Titan Lighting ( altough i fixed that from the visuals ) , they now throw goblins like Untamed ones, BUT the delay before the attack is still there and they freeze before they shoot, it's so annoying do you know how that can be fixed ?

yes, kinda, just test it yourself, because i can't explain it, i mean before the actual attack they bug, but when they begin, it's normal like a Untamed Throw...So yea they have an animation for Goblin Thrower(Grab goblin than throw animation just like the normal ability) but it's kinda buggy i think
