GUNNAR THE GUN :D
Hi
i really like Gunnar, he has probably the best skilloptions available and is IMO only behind Shakti/Ivor in the very beginning, but tactics at least gives the edge above ivor
I would like to know how you would skill him
My fav:
preset
logi
tactics
wisdom
earth mag
air mag
situational
pathfinding(in case no townportal)
offense
ballistic(rocks with tactics)
armorer
firemagic(only if armageddon is "probabel", like multiple inferno/towerson map)
Archery(a must imo with Dungeon and Tower near the maintown)
Leadership(if alots of different towns)
Luck(why not)
Out of those situational skills, which would you choose if you could (ex. scouted witchhut)

Offense and armorer aren't situational...they are both a must for all heroes/towns.
Archery is important if a town MOSTLY relays on shooters. This counts for Tower of course, but not for dungeon.
While Tower uses gremlins at the beginning, and titans at the end, dungeon uses mostly trogs and harpies at the beginning, and minos and dragons at the end.

I always take Offense/Armorer if I can, on any hero might or magic. In general, these are my fav skills for Gunnar or any other hero:
-Any magic school that pops up
-Archery
-Armorer
-Artillery
-Ballistics
-Estates
-Intelligence
-Logistics
-Mysticism
-Offense
-Pathfinding
-Scholar
-Tactics
-Wisdom
Aside from Gunnar it kinda depends on might or magic hero. On a might hero I usually take my chance with any magic related skill, simply because it has a lower chance of appearing. On a magic hero it's the other way around, I'll grab any useful might skill that pops up. Also on a magic hero, I usually try to get earth magic first.

I choose offense, armorer, logistics, wisdom, and earth magic on my main. Usually air magic and pathfinding too. The toss up slot I usually fill with tactics, leadership, or archery.
