The world would be better without 13 year olds?!?! Not that I'm offended (I know too many dumb 13 year old people). But try and imagine HC without me. Wesley will say that it's better, because that dancing chicken wouldn't be there, but Slava wouldn't be learning to make games with GM 4.0 and threads like "What are you?" or "Woockardo's Shack of Fright" would never be here. So, the world would NOT be better without us. Well, at least not all of us...

...oh, I was kidding btw, just in case you took that the wrong way. Most of you probably wouldn't consider me as one for some reason, but I am in many respects still a kid...and sure many people think I'm stupid...but that's their problem.
...age does have a factor in determining intellectual conversation to some extent, but personality is a universal concept, not related to any particular group...

I'm an ignorant 14-year old... I don't try to act all smart, but compared to my friends, I am. Then again, that's not saying much (j/k... I think). I think that the world has a lot of stupid people in it, and if kids may make up a larger %, it's only because they haven't had time to learn as much.

People of the world are falling into total social discrimination. Kids insult 80yearolds behind the corner, old people say they're more useful than "brats" etc.
I am 13.
I OWN Unreal Tournament.
And i think stupidity occurs when you show no interest to what everyone else is doing every day - learning!
I don't normally talk like this, just that this thread caught my attention...

Kids are probably smarter than adults by almost any measure of pure intelligence. Their brains adapt and grow quicker and learn at 4x the rate of most adults. The only thing they lack is experience, but I know alot of adults who have alot of experience, but never learned anything from it and do the same stupid things over again.
Condescending attitudes by adults toward kids really irritate me. I'm only in my 20's now, but when I was about 5-6 and first could always tell when it was condescion aimed at me rather than good humouroed oh so cute type of remarks or actions, didn't respect adults who had forgotten what they were like as kids. If you learn something once, but then forget it- what was the point?
