LEGO HOMMIII diorama
For a really long time I've wanted to build a Heroes themed diorama in LEGO bricks. These early WIP studies from July 2012 prove the idea's been in my head for quite a while...

Back then I thought one map square will be 7x7 LEGO units. The project was put on standy-by and I started working on it again in December 2013, after recalculating the map square into 6x6 units. These bits were designed.

The bright colours will be replaced with the appropriate earth tones and their only purpose here is to show me how it will look when finished and to help me count the bricks I've yet to buy.
I also worked on the frame with the game logo implemented on the front side.

I've decided all of the animated objects will be motorized and that all of the glowing stuff will have tiny LEGO light bulbs installed.
Unfortunately I cannot afford to buy all the metallic gold tiles I need for the frame (they're really expensive!) and all the lights so the project is yet again on stand-by and I hope to return to it in a few years.
However, can you recognize all the map objects?

That looks really nice and must be a monumental undertaking at the same time . Do you already have a rough estimate of how much it's going to cost you to make? I just hope you won't get unpleasantly surprised but find the drive to finish it. How large will you make the map?
The only object that I don't clearly recognize, is the pillar with the image on its side (one of the pictures with a miniature posing next to it). Is it supposed to be an Obelisk (the black one, to be precise)?
Do you plan to try and recreate all different objects, or do you do some cherry picking among the loads that exist?
Are there any objects that you think will be just about impossible to recreate with Lego on the scale you're planning on?

@Maurice: I don't know how much it's going to cost me all together as I will use bricks from other project once I disassemble them but at least $1000 of new material will have to be bought specifically for this project (I already have a lot of bricks in my collection).
The map would have been 30x30 squares. I know it's smaller than the smallest HOMMIII option but it would've been packed with objects and with plenty of details to look at and would measure 1,53 meters of width (and length) = 5 feet. That's just the plan I had last year. Once I return to this project, more than a year from today, I may change my mind and make it fitting a HOMMIII map standard.
Yes, it's just a black obelisk. I didn't have any other black printed bricks to pose as runes so I though Han Solo in carbonite would be cool. 8)
For now I did only a selection of objects that are easier to make but I would love to have them all included! Of course that would mean a huge map...

As I see them, from top to bottom:
Row 1: some heroes on the left, a Necropolis town on the right (with some Heroes)
Row 2: Gremlin Workshop on the left, Garden of Revelation (+1 Knowledge) on the right
Row 3: On the left first a two-way portal, then a one-way portal, and an Imp Cache and Altar of Sacrifice on the right
Row 4: Hourglass of the Evil Hour and a black Obelisk on the left, together with a Psychic Elemental and a general tile concept on the right
Row 5: A Learning Stone, a Guardhouse and a Cartographer
Row 6: some borders for the map
I have to say that I especially like the lights in the Learning Stone, I wonder how it will look when it's active.

Yes Maurice, you've got it all right.
The light in the learning stone is set to blinking mode. It's blinking much faster than the in-game (or in-editor) slow fade from on to off but I just can't bother with it as I plan to have a lot of lights and motors for all the animated stuff. Getting every light fade just right would take too long and wouldn't mean that much for the finished diorama.
