Nah, there'll only be a soft reset. According to Kimmundi, 1500 ELO will be roughly in the middle of Champion 2.

As much as I like the new system, I am not too fond of getting demoted if haven't duelled in 7 days...I might go on holiday for a week and then lose ranking because of this....hmmmmm

You will drop to the lowest point of your current rank. If you are Champion 1, you won't be dropping below Champion 1 if I understand them correctly.

@ Dave Jame - Zouleika is stronger than Zardoc any day of the week in my book, and I saw at least 2 guys going over 300 telo because I played aginst them in jp, I was Kelthor and it was very hard vs them, won one and lost one. Akane sanctuary (3/6/0) is very strong and does well in jp since it's auto win vs Ignatius without creatures plus rapes almost all lock control ( because of minor recall); only weakness I see with her is vs Kelthor and Cassandra but then again all are weak vs them. And Takana although not as good as the ones mentioned above is surely above Yukiko, at least Takana can put out insane damage.

Are we even playing the same game? I know JP deck's are different but why would those deck by ONLY in JP? Sure I usually play Swiss and Lader, bur if These heroes would be so good as you try to convince me, wouldn't atleast some people try to play them in other formats? How can you name heroes who are so rare that most people don't even know how they look like?
And you really should play against my or Polygoths Yukiko (my is more universal his is more aggressive) You will se Takana is only a minor problem for these decks, or ony other deck to begin with, and that she IS the 2nd best hero in Sanctuary.

Guys, not sure why you arguing about Takana and Yukiko, the best Sanc hero is Ishuma, that's why they are taking her out of BS2!
News on MMR:
When the HoN update hits the live server, current ELO will be converted to an appropriate MMR.
As such, everyone will be assigned the appropriate Rank for their current MMR.
SO current ELO will be converted to an appropriate MMR. That's good to know....Elvin, no worries you'll keep your status....just start playing again

@DJ On ladder anything does well. For example yesterday I was running a Nergal infect with succes on ladder than I tried it for many hours on jp. The result a wooping 35-40 win loss ratio, consider that with Kelthor I am usually 18-5 and with Akane sanctuary or Zouleika 20-13.
@DD Ofc Ishuma is way up but we were talking about mid power heroes.
I'm guessing 1500 is champion II and 1600 champion III?

New picture capture technology to bring in expansion!!
The DoC team asked if I could test out their new picture capture technology allowing you to post a live picture of yourself in any current duel! It was amazing, I really like it, check out my testing:
Lol, just kidding! I got this guy down to 1 health and he asked me if I could let him win to pass 1001 elo, I said only if he let's the duel go for 25 turns and then I will let him win! Well, I didn't and on turn 25 made the last attack! Shame, sorry dude! I confirm that 700 XP is the max you get from duel duration....
Anyway, if one could post a quick pic on a duel, this is what I would have looked like in this particular duel above!!!

I know, I don't do this all the time, just felt like it, besides I had to do things the hard way, no freebies, so if someone asks me to give up the duel for them, I might tend to not be so kind, and play with their heads a little. No harm done, they also get the 700 XP for duel duration!

I usually tell the other that I expect the best he's got and give him the win if he's a good sport. Especially guys nearing 1500.

If someone wants to let him win I do but what I wonder is why would they want a freebie because they will miss the satisfaction of this great achievement. I remember about 9 months ago when I made with my spell Cassandra deck (all I had back then) to 1001 elo I felt overjoyed with that achievement, and then after hard frustrating months of juggling between 1350-1470, finally I won my first tier 1 jackpot ( about a month ago) and finally made it to 1500 and it felt so good,I was so proud of myself of achieving this; I do not see why they would want to get there without earning it, it's not like they get money or something.

Woah, take it esay dude, come on....when we ended turns to turn 25 it was so quick like lasted 10 seconds, it was that quick (not like people that take soooo long to play)....I didn't waste his time, plus he earned 700 XP from battle, plus I don't do this all the time it was a once off, it was just meant as a joke for you guys. Sorry, if it didn't come across this way. Red and I had a private joke going about having a video screenshot on DoC would be cool, maybe I should have kept it between him and me.

Making Kelthor's ability cost 1 is redundant since making it work only on enrage already makes it unusable.
Woohoo ladder for open confirmed; best news so far.
On open Cassandra will dominate again most likely now that Ishuma and Kelthor got their nerfs.
Not that it matters much but I think Crag Hack just became as weak as Jezziel or Gazal LoS.

The card played triggers are now triggered only when card effects have all been executed. An example of this change is that if you now target a Chaos Imp with a Fire Bolt, you will not have to discard a card because the Chaos Imp will already have left the battleground when the Fire Bolt checks for played triggers.
