Please youtube, actually watch or pay attention to the videos. They're just done out of love for great games and music. I had worked to find a lot of rare trailers that weren't anywhere else on the net or were not seen by many.

Edit: Geny brought up a good point.
If other users could submit requests as well it may increase the chances of somebody actually seeing them at least.

Sorry to hear this Shy, but it looks like someone has purposefully gone out of their way to complain about you. Suspensions or banned accounts don't really happen otherwise.
You may be lucky and get someone at Youtube to look into this, but to be honest I wouldn't hold your breath. When someone decides to complain, Youtube and the likes don't bother to investigate, they aren't interested in that. They just suspend or delete accounts.
There really is no democracy here. It sucks.

This sounds pretty horrible, sorry to hear Shy. Did you also use youtube as a backup of those video's or do you still have them? I'm sure many other, similar to youtube, places would love to have you there.

can't people vote to bring a vid back? they should make a feature like that, and since it is but ONE person it means 99% yes 1% no. and just go to the youtube team and force them to watch the video, if they don't agree, make them drink some human piss and say that if they don't watch you'll make them drink more, and everytime they see your face again they will shiver in fear. or do it godfather 2 the game way, punch their equipment, smash their computers and more. it will surely get to it... when everything fails, violence won't. or simply force a cup of boiling water down someone's throat, and make them watch the guy from their team die so they learn the lesson.

Yes, I should have responded earlier, Dailymotion actually offered for me to host with them as well. I should have taken them up on it.
Most of these videos are long gone, but I guess I'll have to just remake them, better than before.

Copyright infringement is seriously the worst, especially on youtube. First hand experience taught me that you're better off either torrenting whatever you want or visiting other vid websites for streams they may or may not have.
Game soundtrack isn't safe either. I'm subscribed to several channels for playthroughs, and about half of the got flagged because you could hear the game's soundtrack during all of it. Hundreds of hours worth of video muted due to copyright issues. It's ridiculous. Those vids are there *to be watched* It's unfair when third parties get to decide what you are or aren't allowed to watch. But that debate is best left for (::shudders: OSM...

I've seen channels have their vids taken down because of it. Of course it depends on whether the company are douchebags (i'm looking at you, EA games :eyes).
Do bear in mind these are mostly stuff like "Let's Plays" and such. I haven't noticed actual tracks being taken down before, like they were on Shyranis' channel (rip ) Game Soundtracks are often uploaded by more than one channel, so it's harder to keep a track of whether they're systematically flagged down/blocked/persecuted if you aren't subscribed to one yourself.

That is because people who do let's play are in it for the profit and have advertisements on their channels. They make money of the companies' product without a license. The company is losing money that should by all rights be theirs. This is illegal.
People who upload soundtracks usually don't have advertisements on their channel and don't make revenues from it. Thus no one cares.

Still doesn't change that the first item on the menu was a trailer from 1999. 
To me it looks like either a troll or maybe one of the several people who wanted me to join their ad network and split the money by monetizing my entire channel, or maybe somebody didn't like that my channel had nearly 12 million views... I don't know I can only speculate

12 million!? That like almost the entire fictitious world of Canada 
I didn't know youtube users could decide what kind of ads should be shown, I gotta admit some of the ads (those who doesn't want to let you continue after 5 sec.) are rather annoying, in my opinion. I understand youtube may need revenue, but I'm surprised by some of the ads.
Edit:
If you want to blame someone, I think it's only fair if you blame Elvin. He can take it, all night long.
