Ludmilla and Sandro?!
Evening fellow comrades...
Ive been playing HOMM a while, and there is one thing about the latest story in Shades of Darkness I just dont understand.
In Danse Macabre, Sandro fullfill his quest and also saves Ludmilla. Making her a servant of his. And at that time she was actually a hero fighting for Haven, untill Sandro did his tricks and schemes preventing her to return to that.
But later when playing the second Necropolis campaign they dont seem to be very much lets call it "friends".
Im struggling to understand this bit...
Can anyone give some insight on this matter?

Maybe she didn't want to turn into a walking corpse?

It's Lucretia, not Ludmilla.
Ludmilla was a wampire lord originated from game "Clash of Heroes" and also member of Spider Goddess Cult. SHe didn't "like" Sandro and his order.
Lucretia was a wampire lord originated from game "Heroes 5" and with Markal they both were Sandro's students.
