Manassas City police...
What the heck? A 17-year-old teenager from Manassas city and his 15 year old ex-girlfriend exchanged a bunch of indecent pictures, typical hormone-driven teenager behavior, isn't it? The things got a lot weirder when the girl's mother found the pictures and accused that boy of pedophilia and sexual assault. First, they're both underage, it makes no sense to accuse only one of them of pedophilia (if it makes sense to accuse any of them), second it was a consensual act, so sexual assault is out of discussion. But this is not the freakiest stuff there... the police department, the first which should take measures against child porn emitted a warrant for pictures of the accused boy's erect genitalia for comparing it with the picture they found on the girl's phone. He was already photographed naked, but as you except, policemen are a big turn off, and now they want to take the poor snow to the hospital, strip his clothes off and inject his junk so they can take pictures for "comparisons".
I mean, seriously? This is outrageous! They misinterpret the expression "fight fire with fire" or "give them a taste of their own medicine", but this is beyond any limit. They are basically making child porn to combat child porn. But also let's think about the integrity of that boy, he's not only labelled as a sex offender, now they also want to humiliate him...

this is as stupid as the salem witch trials. this is also what happens when people are paranoid because of the media, and blow everything out of proportion. that girl's mother needs a good kick in the teeth. the cops involved, and anyone from that town NOT raising all sorts of hell over this, should be kicked in the teeth themselves. all preferably with steel-toe boots. and repeatedly, until it sinks in that they are all morons.
talk about a ****ing witch hunt.

Still better than the alternative. I think that the OP and the article is pretty biased in favor of the boy, I have no context at all, the guy could be beating her into this and a million other variables that would paint him a monster, or variables to make him look like the good guy. The police are the same-way in this, they almost always lack context, thus they can only rely on following the law. This isn't some hollywood movie where the good kids get let off by some light hearted cop that ain't afraid to bend the rules here and there. They don't do their jobs to the letter then they get let off, a million other peeps waiting to take their place. Idk, far more to it than meets the eye.

@ tsar: that could be possible, but i highly doubt it. there have been cases like this before(minus the cops taking pictures of erect child penises, of course. which kind of casts a whole different light on the story, tsar), where people have gone horribly overboard, and let their paranoia and stupidity get the better of them. in my opinion, pedophiles are this day and age's witches. anyone could be labeled one, and many innocent people are; as there is an active hunt for them, propogated by the authorites, and the fear-mongering media. it's the biggest fear of strangers in this day and age, besides terrorists. which is a more than a little stupid, if you ask me. people SHOULD be fearing serial killers, mass murderers, and authority figures who make their country look like **** to other nations. it's kind of like the whole, "we have terrorists and the economy to think about, so let's focus on gay marriages, instead."
