Not sure exactly but Limbic has been on it for some time. Not long enough for the game to be almost ready nor short enough that they haven't worked out what the game will look or play like. There is still much to be done but I feel they have made some very good decisions. If anything there is a vision behind this game, a sense of prioritization and clearly defined game mechanics. I don't know how it will all work out in the end but the signs are good and the potential is there: A solid base that can be easily expanded upon.
I'd say it's closer to H5 but regardless of how they turned out, they all had some good features worth returning. And the same features in a different game can prove a whole different experience
Thank you very much. Will not bug you anymore with more questions... for today

it seems in the battle screenshots that there will be turns like H6
I much prefer the faster paced ATB bar though:/

Yeah, screen shots are very explicit about "Turn 1" and we can see a number on action bar between turn numbers, so for better or worse, it seems very clear that there will be no ATB bar.

Battle screenshots? Where?
Some more info from Tawerna.biz (don't know it's legit but they are usually well informed)
- 4 Hero classes + 8 units per town (but we know this already from teh site)
- Factions that will not be chosen in the vote on MM7 site won't come back in DLC (!)
- More terrain (blocking) objects on battlefields
- No city conversions
- There will be a functional Map Editor day one
- Hero development will be similar to the Skill Wheel from H5
- Two champions per faction, you can choose only one (similar to H4)
- Townscreens will be animated 2D
- Caravans
- No global creature growth (don't know what that means exactly, maybe no creature pool?)
- 7 campaigns that you can play in any order (one will probably be a Tutorial or a final campaign, and the rest for 6 factions, but those are my assumptions)
- Destroyable objects on the Adventure Map like bridges etc
That's all folks!

Look in this thread.
As we are starting to see confusion from the same information being spread over multiple threads, I'll close this one also. Use the Heroes 7 - Discussion thread to continue discussion or post new information (with source) in the Heroes 7 - News topic.
