I think town management is well on par with H5. And that's a good thing, as I like H5 town development. The "lines" that show off prerequisites are bit too confusing imo. But I hope they'll make more sense in actual game. I like, and I mean, I REALY LIKE the fact that creature dwellings, are represented by unit's portrait as oposed to building, as you can see which creature you will recruit at a glance ... it was in H6, and I hoped they will keep it ... and they did - so props to UBI.
In general ... imo UI is better than H5 even. I like town UI, and as far as heroe's UI is concerned, from what I seen, I like it aswell. So imo UI in H7 will be FINALY managable. H6 was horrendous, and it was H5's drawback aswell. It STILL does not reach H3's UI when hero's info pannel is concerned, but it's close. And town UI is realy good.

Town building and UI was amongst the first things that impressed me. Still a little sad that the hiring screen is not like that of H3 but I can overlook that one

What do "+" icons stand for here ?
Is it growth increasement buildings or just upgrades (doubtful since not all units have them)?

I would say it's more growth per week. Since as you mention not all creatures have them, and also you notice some creature's portraits are upgraded version (wolf and spearmen for eg.) and some are normal version (justicar), which implies to me, that upgrading dwelling will use same icon ... tho I hope to see an arrow in corner or something ... they said they're working on these, so let's hope.
But with + icons ... I guess we'll see... there's no descriptions yet so...

I like that they're actually listening to the fans when it comes to town screens! Though it still looks stupid with huge Elrath statue and buidlings outside protection of the walls.

Oh, really. What can you tell me about the gameplay? How does it feel? What can you tell me about the AI? What do you know about it? How the editor looks like? What do you know about it? What can you tell me about the whole skillwheel criticism by some people on this forum? Do you think this game should be considered to be the best just because of the engine and graphics? If not, what makes you think it CAN be the best in the series? I just do not agree with you on this comment.
Have you actually consulted it with people who actually played the game during the event?

I am sorry, but you cannot really answer my questions untill we can both play the game. That's the thing.
