Yeah I am off on the fantasy now.
First I would buy myself an island and build my secret lair. Have a no-fly zone around me. Become completely self sufficient - water, electricity, food etc etc. And build an army of katana wielding super monk robots. And store them beneath my lair (think terracotta army, except metal )
Actually I think I need more sleep.

I didn't think it was necessary, but I probably should have cleared the suspicion of racism in this phrase. I was making that affirmation thinking about the behavior of the persons there, especially the one on the right with the glasses trying to imitate it. Skin color was in NO WAY what I was thinking about, I woulda said the same thing if they were white.
I dunno why you sanctioned me, Elvin, I thought you know me better.

Very risky making such major changes, you may prevent your own birth or even cause nations to suffer more. What if the Nazis win WW2 when there's no communism? What if some third WW starts instead of the Cold War with massive nuclear destruction... and so on.

Some speculate it can be possible in the future but only starting from the moment it has been invented, for example, if it's invented in the year 45.654, you cant go back to the year 45.653. I dont remember the explanation though, it was mostly speculation.

I would likely go back in time and cause some sort of a paradox. Intentionally. Yeah, me and a time machine would not be the best of combinations.

I simply don't think we can. Physics has certain limits, and to me time flow is unalterable.

I think time travel is impossible to begin with. It's not something physical to bridge with a gate. Time is more of a concept.
And think of this. If it were possible, we'd already have anomalies. Because we should see and experience time traveling from the future to us. Because when we achieve that future with the time machine to come back to the past, wouldn't we had already created the loop?
It's like, infinite looping, where you firstly experience your future self traveling back into the past which is your present, THEN your present self going back to the past, where you see your past self observing his future self going back into the past. And this is just for traveling back in time.
It's complicated. Let's just say, if time travel was possible, we'd already know. We'd be the targeted past of our future selves.
'Time traveler's wife' was an excellent movie I've watched about this.

I dont think it will ever be possible either, it simply destroys causality as we know it. But there are speculations, one of them being that each travel would create an alternative universe, so we dont have to be seeing anomalities for certain: One past universe with the traveler and one without the traveler...

If I had a time machine I'd go back 10 days and purchase a milk carton instead of a milk jug. What was I thinking? Ended up pouring half of it down the drain.

I bought whole milk, which I don't usually do. It's thick & creamy but it also spoils sooner. Normally I do 2% for actual milk or I buy almond milk or rice milk. I love rice milk just for drinking. Almond milk is for cereal or oatmeal.

I think time travel is possible. The real question is if others will accept it as time travel.
E.g. let's propose there exists an infinite series of parallel worlds, most differs from us, some don't, in total they represent all possible events for all time, and there's an infinite of each.
Then time travel could simply be to travel between two worlds that are identical in all ways except one worlds particles are arranges identical to that of our world at a previous time. This means any influence you do at this new world will make it differ ever so slightly from the world you left (your presence alone has already done this) and there would already exist a future of this world which is exactly the future your influence would create no matter the influence, as it's all possibilities taken into account.
Where it doesn't make sense to me is in relation to consciousness. The inner observer that's you, different from any other person, who must exist since you observe, but what defines you.. I'd imagine is through complicated configurations within your body. But if those configurations are identical in an infinite amount of worlds, where there's only one type of infinite we know, one would think there'd be a larger infinite of worlds where the configuration which gives rise to your consciousness, and where this consciousness can experience the world through some kind of sensory perception, exists simply through possible interactions throughout infinite time.
Alternatively one could imagine time travel in local space. Time as the direction of entrophy only goes in one direction globally, but locally, by creating an outside system, this system can provide energy and a local space can travel backwards in time. E.g. if the local space was Earth and the provider of energy was the Sun, all the particles on Earth which defines a given time could be rearranged into a coniguration which defines an earlier time. Of course then the time traveller would either himself be turned back, turn to a world without him, or he'd have to create a clone of himself in a prior state. The clone doesn't have to be perfect though, because the resolution required for someone to agree on being in the past is not infinite.

here's a simple idea of time travel:
Since time is a dimension, you just have to carve a hole through the dimensions and, err... zoom through, and do whatever you want. For instance, i was thinking of taking pics from about 1500, take a pic, photoshop it, and telling people that i'm immune to aging . Or coming back with the ultimate form of soldiers: AK-Monkeys. And maybe sell a dinosaur bone or two to the musem

This is awful silly, there is no such thing as the past, the past is an illusion, the second before this one is no longer in existence, neither is the second after this. I don't doubt that there are ways to manipulate time in order reduce to change to effects on the body, but all of it occurs in the present, so in a way I guess you could say you can travel into the future, but in reality you did no such thing, your body just weathered the time. Only the present time exists, venturing beyond that in your mind is fantasy.
Besides, I'm exactly where I desire to be, despite times where my imagination takes hold of me (which is quite often).
