Will the Map Editor have the Event function again? The "blue-ball" in the H3 Editor was one of the most important features for a creator to have. Placing that single object empowered the maker to call for an ambush, a morale change, joining troops, goodies, etc.
Will we get timed events back in the Editor? Both timed-town-events and world events.
If we have an ally will we be able to enter their town to learn spells? In H5 there were so few spells this wasn't important but if lots of magic comes to town it might be a nice feature to have again.

Sure you read this on CH:
Xavier Penin: The motto for the battle system in H7 is less abilities, more tactics. We want dynamic battles with movement, risk and sacrifices. We want to encourage offense and reward smart placement of units and use of space. Also, we want to strongly emphasize each faction's battle style, through faction skills but also creature stats and abilities.
Well yes, but I'm still curious to see what they have to say about HP/Damage ratio.
Edit: I'd also have this question answered.

Will we see a void-themed Necropolis or at least Sandro and the order of Void in h7?
Will cores be so overpowered compared to elites and champion like in h6? Or it will be a higher difference between levels like in the previous games?

My burning questions:
1. What unique aspects are you trying to implement in the M&M:HVII?
I mean, we heard a lot about trying to bring back the best things from the previous installments, but is there going to be anything new that is truly unique for the Heroes franchise? (Like heroes taking part in the battles in Heroes IV or town views in Heroes V)
2. Any news about the artifacts? What tiers will they be divided to? What will be their relevant strength? May they decide the outcome of the battle in the significant way? Will some of them give your hero new abilities on the adventure map, like flying over obstacles or increasing city growth? What about the idea of combination artifacts?

Few questions here. I doubt that Elvin will send something for me... but I can only hope:
1. Are creatures names final?
2. Do creatures like pegasus, behemoth, efreeti, troglodyte, black knight and blood sucking vampire have any chance for return?
3. Do you consider including magic guild and taven inside screens like in Heroes 3 and 4 and consumable items (like potions) like in Heroes 4?
4. Will perks make their return and will skill be random with leveling up?
5. Individual heroes with specialization like in Heroes 3 and 5, or just class and portrait like in Heroes 4 and 6?

In heroes 6 individual heroes also had specialization just like in 3 and 5, albeit them being quite generic and not influenced by hero level.

As far as I know, yes. You have Ifreet in DoC - it's corrupted djinn alligned with Inferno.

Quote: Heroes have a class (like Paladin) and that defines their skills. They also have a faction skill.
Skills have a global effect and offer access to abilities, which have a more specialized effect. When levelling up, the player must spend a point to upgrade a skill or buy an ability. You cannot have everything so you must make choices: you can specialize or try to be balanced.
Also, skills are divided into Might, Magic and Neutral categories, and are consistent with the Hero's class.

Yeah, what about magic attack and defense? I'm also curious about that.
Plus I would like to know how racials will work, and what form will they take. Will we once again get a few levels of them, or maybe separate skill trees?
