I dunno. It says "strike and return" so it's either a really fast "Blade dancer" unit, that lynx rider that War Overlord posted, or perhaps it is something else completely (my hopes is a Pegasus kinda deal, liked them back in H3) But really... we just don't know.

Well that's a tough decision to make. I like the "The Strength of the Forest" line-up if it only did not have those snakes. I don't really want to have them as a Sylvan unit. They sound boring and all the other units would be far more interesting.
In my opinion the "Earth's Perfect Balance" line-up is the least interesting of those three. I have never been a fan of the Pixies and the Treants would be far more interesting as a champion unit. Furthermore having two flying units to choose from in the champion tier is not that interesting even though they will have different abilities.
I will vote for the "Sylanna's Fury" line-up for now because in my opinion it has the best core and elite units. I'm not really sure about the Bladedancers because the Emerald Knights sound more interesting. The Deer could be very interesting too as long as it is not simply a unicorn in shape of a deer.
My favorite line-up with the available creatures would probably be this:
Core - Hunter, Dryad, Pixie
Elite - Druid, Unicorn, Emerald Knight
Champion - Green Dragon, Treant

I just noticed in Strength of Forest
Emerald warrior/Emerald knight: strike and retribution damage dealer
while in Earths Perfect Balance
Emerald warrior/Emerald knight: strike and return damage dealer
...so in other words one is a harpy the other is an efreet(fireshield) gameplaywise.

I also think the Emerald warrior sounds terribly contrived, but if they exchanged it for a unicorn I would definitely vote #2
Hunter/Master hunter
Root snake/Root python
Pixie/Sprite
Druid/Elder Druid
Silver unicorn/Golden unicorn
Treant/Ancient treant
Green dragon/Emerald dragon
Phoenix/Greater Phoenix
that would be pretty cool
wouldn't hurt to have the gold dragon back either, but gotta color code every faction these days I guess

So I hate dragons and want to see Treants as champion units ASAP!
Also Phoenix in Sylvan (a fiery creature in a freaking forest!!!!) is not cool.
Also Earth's perfect balance does not have unicorns or at least some deers. Sylvan needs some more iconic units.
So Earth's perfect balance is out of the question!!!
As for the other two I am a little troubled with the snakes in Sylvan since they represent something more sinister and poison is best left for Dungeon..
Also Knights in Sylvan's not my cup of tea and I would prefer an elite Blade Dancer!(that's right I said it!!!!) to keep the line up consistent for H5.
So the winner is Sylanna's fury!! For me Deers=Unicorns in terms of being an iconic elven creature, Dryads to heal my Treants,Pixies to annoy the enemy and being all fairy-like, I loved Deers in clash of heroes and they really made me forget about Unicorns!

Vote sounds quite hypocrite, Unicorns should have been in at least two proposals out of the three for obvious reasons. Strenght already "won"..

We slould vote counting the strategies too. So, with Strength of the Forest, we'll have a defensive-oriented Sylvan, with Earth's Perfect Balance we'll have an overall, modable Sylvan, and with Sylanna's Fury we'll have a more attacking-oriented Sylvan.

Well I would let the Unicorns rest and I absolutely find it weird that the Phoenix enters a faction so I voted for Sylanna's Fury even though it would be H7's Stronghold with only 1 unit missing from the H5 lineup. Of course it's losing because of that and also because Blade Dancer is an unpopular unit.
I'm surprised that many are opposing against the snake, that seems to be the most interesting new unit for me alongside the deer and I miss that from my preferred lineup. Of course the first one has 3 new units and the second has 2 new + Phoenix so these will win...

Thats because snakes fit better with both Dungeon and Sanctuary, but not with the Sylvan.

O pleas no pheonixes :-( Even the option of having them just kill the elves for me. I can tolerat 2 dragons, not 2 magic birds.
Fury line up.. Well it would be nice if there were no bladedancers in it. exchange them for knights and i will change my vote
But for now I officially join the "I want unicorns" side.
Since unicorns come from HELL

Eh..... I can see Naga/Sanctuary having snakes (considering Nagas ARE snake peeps), and kinda sort-of see Dungeon, but why can't snakes live in forests and jungles? I don't see much a reason, so I can't see a reason against snakes in sylvan. Are they not nature-y enough? Are they not "good" enough?
I still think a snake is better than a phoenix. Although phoenixes were part of this kind of faction before, I find it weird that things like Treants and Dryads and Pixies would like having a burning effigy of continuous fire living anywhere nearby them. Dragons could have some other breath ( I know in Clash of Heroes, Green Dragons had acid breath instead of straight fire) that wouldn't be as dangerous as fire, and dragons can control whether they breathe flame/acid/whatever. Phoenixes are pretty much flame-covered birds 100% of the time.

Phoenixes are FIRE creatures, and Sylvan is an EARTH faction, as the name "Earth's Perfect Balance" suggests. So I dunno why the heck they want to introduce them in this faction's line-up. They may well keep it for an eventually Fortress expansion, and give us something else, or just Treants and Green Drags.

Phoenixes were H2's Champ and were originaly planned to be there in H5 as well(NWC).

Yeah but back then there was no Ashan and Sylanna. Putting Phoenix back to a town due to pure nostalgia is a bad decision.
As for snake, it doesn't have to be a python or a viper but something green or colorful...
