Em... Does Wraith from H5 count? It was pretty badass and I hope for it's return. Namtarus, Sharkmen and nearly all H6's demons (depends on taste their really) too.
But I have to agree on you that new Ubi's creature are not so fascinating (though I love Sanctuary, I don't like their lineup in H6), ecluding mentioined examples imo.
In fact, I can't remember anyone as cool as Wraith )
Wraith is one of my favourites as well! BUT they were in Heroes series before.. so that doesnt count!

Yeah (that's why I asked if they count or not), but tbh, those two share only the name and undead category) I really can't see them as one and the same creature - they're too different in terms of visual, gameplay and even level. But that's just me

My problem with D&D creatures is that like 90% is stolen from mythology and just given another name.
You are completely against making up new creatures and want heroes to use only mythological creatures, but when a game does take its creatures from mythology you have a problem with that. Please make up your mind.

Do they have to be new, or Ubi-versions of existing (mythological) creatures?
For the latter I would like to bring up the kirin, wyverns and ubi-pit lords.
What the (more) original creatures concerned, I would like to add to shark guards and namtarus the lamasus, breeders and faceless.

Yes I have a problem with that because D&D is a golddigger, they put copyright on creatures made up by mythology.
That doesn't make sense at all.
