I voted lynx because I find it fitting for the concept they envisioned: fast and aggressive. I know that they said that this option is discarded for now, but if sufficient people feel the same as I do, maybe it will be enough to change their mind. After all, we are still early in the conceptual design stage...

Truly agree, but without unicorn at all it will be even more sad. In my own line-up they undepended creatures and the emeralds is a stag riders, but it just my suggestion.
So, I think Emerald Knights can be well-deserved to be unicorn riders by some lore like the Sylvan heroes in Heroes V can be.

i dont think pegasus fits into sylvan faction in any way
and actually i consider it a huge mistake to have them in Heroes3 Rampart/nature faction as well
one of few things that Heroes3 did wrong

I voted for mounted on unicorn, i think that would be alot cooler than the other ideas. Don't like the devs idea of amoured elven knight, seems too cliche.

As for Unicorn it is directly linked with forests
thus unicorn fits better in nature faction then pegasus which is not related to nature in any way rather then elf in Heroes3 was riding it

Can you make the developers stop makeing everything divine? Then I will stop saying it.
And frankly I don't really care what they will or infact will not ride but Unicorns and Deers are units in their own right while we only had pegasi as mounts.

To be honest, I put him in a Free Cities Faction I made a few years ago, which was mainly influenced by Greek and Italian city-states. So Pegasi Riders were really fitting in the lineup (especially considering the Free Cities connection to Ylath and freedom and adventure). Otherwise, it's really doesn't fit in my opinion in Sylvan... through I don't know which existing faction it will fit.... (Academy? Haven? Stronghold? I don't know...)

MAYBE Haven. But definately not Sylvan, pegasus is not very earthly.

Elves are just as earhtly as pegasus, so if one fits into Sylvian the other does too. The only other faction it could fit is Haven. But Marzhin said the Emerald warrior would probably not be a flyer anyway.

I voted lynx, since I loved the Lynx Rider unit.
But I'd be just as happy with unicorn. Make them female too, please. There's an insinuation of beastiality with the whole, "unicorns can only be ridden by maidens", but so what?
Age of Wonders Iron Maidens to make a spiritual return, pls.
