Ultimate Ability?
i've been playing this game for a long time and i realized i haven't gained ultimate abilities before. I've read all of the prequsities of all races but ultimate abilities (unstoppable charge, ugrash's call etc etc) never appears on the skill list.
am i missing something?

Well, they have a lot of prerequisites, so they are very difficult to get. I only managed to get the Howl of Terror (necro ult) once.

Original H5 and tribes of the east have different requirements, which skillwheel are you using?

If I recall correctly, Ultimate Abilities got their prerequisites changed in TotE (in other words, they had different in Vanilla/HoF).
- HoF skills (check every class)
- TotE Skillwheel
What version do you have?

I'm not sure if that skill tree is correct. iirc it was changed in TotE. For me there was a fanmade skillwheel included with TotE.
You should also check if you don't need the pendent of mastery to be able to learn the ut.
Which ultimate were you trying to get? I can look up the prerequisites for you if you like.
EDIT: The skillwheel I mentioned is the one SG linked. Try that one and you'll be fine

Ofc you can get the ultimate without the pendant of mastery. The skillwheels Stormy posted are the right ones. The thing is, if you are offered 2 skills (where none of them is the ultimate although you have the prequisite) and you choose one and remove it with that guy sitting on a flying carpet (can't remember the name) you'll be offered the same two skills again. So you'll have to remove some more skills (or at least not that one chosen with last lvl up) to get the ultimate offered (or any other skill in that case).
But don't bother with ultimates anyway, while they are pretty good in most cases, you'll miss out several more important skills. The only acceptable path in my opinion is the rangers ultimate but as you most likely will have luck of 5+ anyway with a ranger, its only a damage boost of 50% and choosing the ultimate over enlightment, leadership, aura of swiftness, retribution etc is a bad deal in my eyes

Getting the ultimates can be a pain in the ass. A wrong level up skill choices and you're screwed

You can definitly get the ultimate without the pendant, at least with version 3.1, no idea about other versions
