A Newbies First Impressions
I just wanted to say Thankyou to everyone who has been so welcoming to this forum. I have just recently come from a Diablo forum which is great and also filled with nice people but I find this forum very friendly and a fun place to post in. I also find everyone very helpful. You should be proud of your forum its a really cool place I like it alot.

Pretty much people are friendly till you do or say somethign they disapprove of. Luckily that never happens here right? lol Actually, biggest thing is grumpy gamers arguing about old battles or strategies along with complaints of derogatory comments that someone makes as a joke.
Yeah- anyway, enough negativity in the world right, enjoy your stay here- hope you at least play HoMM though, need more women who do and also play multi.

Mostly disagreements come to respect which example Wesley & I had some disagreements & some fued but we get along now even though I have a strange feeling he might reply lol.
When it comes to strategy disagreements man it's the truth & I am really smart when it comes to heroes 3 but not 4 yet & finally after many hints & tips someone questions me of my most prized creature the Hydra.
There is no argument I know a great deal of my beasts & cant wait for his reply on the library.
Mostly thats a disagreement that will resolve in 2 posts most likely .
If any of you ever played online then you will know about the fueds as there are alot of poor loosers cheaters etc.
Make yourselfs at home & I love newbies ,heck I love everyone & like the man says if you have the speed take a walk in the kitchen

Greattings and Hi Rainbow.
Welcome on board this fairytelling ship! Being a newcommer my self I like to take the opportunity to praise the community here. I to had an experience from a Diablo community ( the old and long gone Lurkers Lounge, stayed a little on amazonbassin while getting out of my addiction to the game) and learned there to appriciate in depth discusions of a game! And here I have meet the best community feeling, adding the element of great entertaining too!

I haven't played online yet but will..I only know one other person who has Heroes so if anyone is interested in a multi-player then "Yell" and I'll be there .....but..Warning.. I still have L plates on

hmm...
Well, there is no time like the present! No problem with you getting a game if you are still learning- if you haven't played the game or even the whole series for a few years most people won't consider you a veteran anyway.
You'll be able to get HoM3 games for quite a while now, but if you've bought H4 even better... sounds like alot of the H3 experienced players having difficulties with it so now is your chance to kill them all. ;-) Good luck!

hehe, as someone said this place is a friendly place until you discuss an important subject to you and someone totally disagree´s with your opinions. But then how fun would it be if everyone agreed on everything? So i would like to take this oppurtunity and thank all "disagreers" out there. Thanks to you there are some action around here. Keep up the good work.

Why I think Heroes Community is the best DB (discussion board, not dragon ball!):
You can find all sorts of people, even "virtual" marriages (only one though) etc. You may even see competition here. Loads of taverns, a couple of shops including an all-in-one and some specialized ones. That's what makes me think Heroes Community is a true community.

Wow Lord Woock, that was touching. The first time I've heard such nice words come out of your gigantic dwarven (hey that's an oximoron)undead mouth. Oh and a large welcome to you Rainbow. As everyone has said so far, this place is really friendly and fun to post. I've been coming to Heroes community for about a year now and even though I don't open too many threads, I love reading everon eleses and adding my thoughts.

Rainbow, hello from the Weird Guy In The Corner
Well, friendly or not, this place is the best... board I've ever been to (the first Long-To-Last also).
You have it all.. Gigantic, undead dwarves(he's on the roof).. An elf who is the mix of a Wolf, a Vampire and an Elf (this one is in the opposite corner ).. the guy with the million of faces that has them changing with blazing frequency (he's staring at the window right now) and some more weird... creatures.
Enjoy your stay, and I hope to hear what's up with you from the RP-imaging side

Hey this place is great.....where else can you go fight wars then end up at Cats for a lingerie/strip poker party lol........and just out of curiosity....What country are most people from? I'm from Australia.....Is there many of us Aussies in here?
