ripped from where? i remember seeing unknown avatars of Abyss' murlocs somewhere on the net, but i believe it was from a card game. if there are other awesome creatures that are able to be made into homm3 creatures akin to those, i would like to know where i can find them.
Murloc/Deep One and Abyssal Murlock/Dark One are both existing in Abyss mod for VCMI. This town has so many creators, co can't say who is author, but... they live!

As might heroes (except Alchemists and Death Knights) start without spell book, I think it would be a good feature too be offered the possibility of buying a spell book at shrines and maybe pyramids if you don't already have one.
I never feel like buying mightheroes from taverns on the map, because they start without spell book, but if they could buy it from shrines and pyramids they could also learn the spells.

i'm already aware that they came from the abyss town. but i was wondering of the actual source for these creatures(from what game they were ripped from), since they look very similar to the ones in the abyss town. i figure, they're ripped from somewhere.

If you mean these pictures of the "deep ones"... It's X-COM - Terror from the deep. There are quite a lot deepsea units in that game, feel free to explore...

no, i meant the creatures that are used in the abyss town: the murloc and the abyssal murloc. i have seen the abyssal murloc in a game ad on HC, seperate from the abyss town. the two creatures look quite similar.

It would be something to be able to select for random maps the condition "Starting hero can't be killed", so you automatically could prevent poorman's TP.

I think I have already ask this, but I try again: is it possible, with HD mod and higher resolution (1024x768) to be able to make every words bigger? Especially the one that describe enemies ability. It's smaller than Heroes Complete, even at the same resolution.

It would be great for maps without water to have an alternative skill to Navigation, mining. Hero with basic mining would produce 1 of wood and ore, with advanced 2 of wood and ore and with expert 2 of wood and ore and 1 of each special resources. It would be ideal for those heroes you just have inside towns carrying resource and legion artifacts.

I think the Expert level is a bit too powerful, Bloodsucker. How about the following:
Basic Mining: produces either 2 Wood, 2 Ore or 1 of Crystal, Sulfur, Mercury or Gems.
Advanced Mining: produces either 4 Wood, 4 Ore or 2 of Crystal, Sulfur, Mercury or Gems.
Expert Mining: produces either 6 Wood, 6 Ore or 3 of Crystal, Sulfur, Mercury or Gems.

As a matter of fact I think all my purposal is a bit too powerfull, it would probably be better to cicle the special resource as they do in Heroes IV, day 1 mercury, day 2 sulfur, etc... Maybe 1 of wood and ore for basic, 2 and 1 special for Advanced, 3 and 2 for Expert.
P.S. Sorry, that would still be too much. Trying to match the value of estates it should probably be like: 1/1, 2/2, 3/3 + 1 cicling or 1/1, 2/2, 4/4 + 1 cicling. The problem is, basic has to give something and 1 of wood and ore are already better then 125 of Gold.

I would really like to improve the damage of some of the spells:
Fireball, Frost Ring, Land Mine and especially Inferno, they are level 3 and 4 spells and they all have Power x10 formula, same as level 1 Magic Arrow!
(Alternatively Land Mine could cause the enemy to loose their turn like Quick Sand, it is a level 3 spell, while Quick Sand is only level 2 after all.)
Inferno especially is really bad compared to Meteor Shower and Chain Lightning of the same level and more units are immune to fire magic.
Maybe Death Ripple and Destroy Undead could also use a small boost...

I agree, I played Playing with Fire and Inferno damage is so weak. I think that Inferno spell should have less deal less damage than Meteor Shower and Chain Lighting but it can hit more units. Death Ripple was only good with Sandro. More increased damage for DR and DU is acceptable.

I hope this's the right place for this kind of suggestions.
So, I'll really glad if someone will add a new towm with the neutral creatures, As a new Town there can be some Ancient-Egyption Town with Rogue, Boar, Troll, Golem, Mummy, Nomand, Rust Dragon (or any other dragons), or any other creatures like Pharaoh/Cleopatra as a 7th creature.
And to make Mummy as an archer + casting curse spell when hitting, can be cool.
And of course I would like to see Sharpshooter in Rampart Town as an 3rd upgrade to Elf creature or as 8th creature.
And Enchanter can be as 3rd update to Mage in Tower Town, my favorite creature.
Or just a part of some new Town.

Well it can work, or some kind of snake creature.
But i think I saw something similar to this concept from VCMI, my idea is to use the neutral creatures and to add some new + modifications to the mummy, cuz there need to be an archer/mage.
If i knew how to create new creatures and towns and do all the coding, stats, spells etc... I can work on something.
But I've no idea how to do it, or even where to start
