Can't wait for that. Wine is awesome. I play all of the Heroes games on Linux, H4 even works better there. The only issue I have with wine is H5 map editor. But H3, flawless
I got this for my ipad, and while I am glad the controls are done well and the visuals are astonishing, there are a lot of bugs. As are all Ubi games. It crashes quite frequently but on the plus side it auto saves every turn and it starts up very fast.
Hello everyone, do not want to spam and complain, we all know it is a bit lazy what Ubisoft have done.
I wanted only to ask if in the game was at least implemented later patch changing stats of reptillion (for me most important cause play a lot of fortress), dragon fly, probably cerber and magog and also costs of angel and archangel. Because if not- that is extremely lazy and shameful and should not take place ;/
Sorry if this question has been already asked and discussed but do not have time to read all the comments due to lack of time (but will read most of them later)!

Nope, they dont. And I still find myself trying to collect an artifact set or avoiding moat damage or pressing space bar to enter a building I'm standing on or... None of them exist in RoE. They could have at least add the space bar thingy, it's really annoying to go back and forth and losing movement points.

Thanks for the answer I was just interested if they have done at least that, fortress is my favourite faction so I was curious if it was improved
Sadly it seems that game if fulfilled wth errors and glitches but there is always same game available with expansions (and imo better graphics- some hd elements just destroy some models and atmosphre created by faded lines) so I am not sad

If it hasn't been said already, although probably it's pretty obvious that who wants random generated maps for the HD version of ROE, they can create them with RMG from the complete version of Heroes or other veriosn and just transfer them in to the Hd version.(100% compatible only on PC)
P.s. Would be nice to have a converter from pc to android and other
It sucks for those with IPADs...it's not possible to add maps
Or if it's possible please share.
Thank you

I was happy when I read an announcement about HD Edition of HoMM 3, although I preferred to wait for its releasement and for some reviews, as for I was worried if about this game's stability. Most of reviews weren't positive, but I decided to buy the game three weeks after it was released. I knew I was buying HD Edition of only RoE (as it was written in the description), but I expected at least some improvements and good optimalization.
This game, unfortunatelly, is poorly optimized and has everything RoE had, including bugs and missing features that were added in the addons (such as re-visiting objects by clicking the space bar - I'm glad that there's a mod, but it should have already been there without modding!).
In other words: I am disappointed. Even if the game looks great itself, it's not what I expected from the technical way (and what was mentioned above).
Too bad that there won't be any addons in HD Editions, but I completely understand it. They have only the code from RoE and they emphased that HoMM 3 - HD Edition is based on the Restoration of Erathia.
just wondering if there is a way to take the HD sprites and backgrounds from the new UBIsoft ver and plug them into the original. or if anybody is working on anything like that.

they weren't just imported, man. i worked on all of them. the stuff wasn't just cut, shrink, sharpen and done(although, the pandora's box pretty much was). it required a bit of tailoring, that differed between objects. check the comparison, between the ubisoft screenshots of their HD work, and my work, to better differentiate.
