Mod list for VCMI has been updated again. There's no new content, mostly graphical replacements from various ERA II mods. To avoid long mod lists in launcher - small mods have been grouped as submods. For example - 'Small Era Mods' mod contain 13 submods so you can configure easily your favourite set of mods.

Don't know about Monolith, but this is a really good asylum that I use in my game.

Now what we really need is someone to create a VCMI town creator. I know Monumental undertaking but make that and iron out bugs and I would buy VCMI as Heroes 9 !!!! lol

Nope. We need artists who can create complete town graphics of high quality. So far only finished towns are Cove and Forge.

I prepare graphics in Paint.Net, it's a freeware program that works with layers.
For town buildings you could search Net. For example, in Google search for pictures input "png transparent tavern". And here is a set of pngs ready for townscreen

If you got enough motivation and free time, I suggest you learn 3dsmax or blender to create your own objects, photoshop or gimp for textures.
It's not that hard, and there is tons of free tutorials online giving needed yet powerful basics.
