hi everyone. i ve been trying some couple of things during my vacation(im currently at the place where chimera died!) i dont know much about modelling and stuff but i still wanted to make somethings for a possible inferno town.
i used classic pen & paper + some sketchup for correct 3D sense & perspective.. now im mixing things in photoshop. i have no real methods and i dont really know what im doing (lol) but i would like to hear some comments & suggestions.
way months back, i made some dwelling buildings(for imp, devil, and some tower-like things, they are still on the 5th page). now i have a new one, for juggernauts:
-its some sort of cube shaped, heavy looking building with almost no windows. i thought building should reflect juggernauts characteristics(tanky creature with lots of horns around its head)this sketch is for final designs front-look. stairs to a hole shaped door leading to an arena hall, where chaotic things happen inside. a constant destruction, explodes, flashy lights coming out of buildings top. craft by destruction and chaos i thought, this should be how juggernauts been made.
-these images below, show chronological order or my town screen work. i just throw mountian-terrain images from google and tweak them with photoshop on my screenshot from my sketch up file. dont mind the colors, i have not filetered yet that super lazy orange thing will be a river of lava + and a lake of fire, and it will have a efreet dwelling building on it, probably on the shore.
-on the left, there is a town hall building(which can be upgraded to city hall and then capitol) which i currently not much worked on. it has no details whatsoever but this is the shape it will be in final. it reminds me of a reversed cross.
-tower, which was originally a mage guild building for fortress, needs some tweaks to fit in, and it has no sketchs, its been made in sketch up and has sort of dwarvish look. i will work on this. i like having tower-like buildings in town screens.
-others are: on bottom, imp dwelling, on top of mountain, devil, and a floating juggernaut dwelling on the very right.
----currently also working on:
-kennels for cerberus, it will be located in the right of mage guild, on the bottom of lowered level.
- 2 kinds of regular town dweller houses, located on empty places randomly, scaled and corrected to distance and hight.
- some pipes & sewer looks combined into a building for breeders. i thought they could be some kind of thrash eaters, and spawn themselves on very low parts of town.
i do these things for funand im reaaaaaaally slow on doing this. please no harsh judgements

im finished for today, i dont know when i can work on this again. anyway this is the latest version. thank you for your support verriker & kiryu
edit: 2 more work hours.
-i decided to extend city to right,
-move juggernaut building to right, to an isolated isle located between smaller lava rivers
-decided to add a castle building+castle gate complex to very far away. after doing this i also removed gates & walls placed in front of town hall since i didnt need them anymore. i will use new empty space for buildings like marketplace, tavern etc.
-i used some filter effects and perspective tweaks on my sketchs.
-i decided to increase depthness of town screen. river will be like a canyon starting in middle part and i will use shores of river to place many little ordinary houses, shipyard and stuff like that.
-thinking about sucubbus building... i guess i will use some cute mansion/hotel to represent it. i have an idea: it will be surrounded by a magical field, showing an illusion of happy+colorful place around building... burned trees will look like green, and the grey sky will look like blue.. those kind of stuff. this will provide more diverse colors in townscreen and make succubus building really look unique.
-at the very first i was just throwing images, but i really started to like town screens colors. i think i will not change them much. i realised i dont want another red-black heavy inferno town lol.
note: i know grey areas look horrible but they are just reminder marks for myself. i will use those areas to place unclickable buildings, roads and stuff like that... white area on right is the extended part, i feel too lazy to edit that part yet. ehmm enough talking..
as always, im always open for suggestions!
