ICTC 8: Oubliette
 Work In Progress
The Inquisition as its own independent faction, seeking to purge the world of demons, dark magic, and anything that resembles such.
Might Hero: Exorcist
Magic Hero: Inquisitor
Core:
Doomed / Damned
The poor souls accused by and tortured by the Inquisition, forced into service to "prove" their innocence... assuming you ever prove it.
Witch Hunter / Demon Hunter
Armed with crossbows and ordained by the Inquisition, these hunters seek out and literally shoot down anything perceived as a threat.
Purgers / Oprichniki
Sometimes you can never be too careful... send out the riders and cleanse the village with hoof and torch!
Elite
Jailer / Binder
Lashing out with massive chains and flails marked with sealing sigils, these mighty warriors not only beat demons into submission, but also limit their powers while doing so.
Accuser / Interrogator
The backbone of the Inquisition, these magical investigators use their holy powers of light and fire to cauterize the sickly cancers that are demons.
Bound Demon / Sealed Demon
At last, the interrogations bore fruit; a possessed man revealed his true form and has been captured! What better irony is there than to turn such demons against their own brethren?
Champion
(in progress; might move the Demon units to this slot and find a new Elite)

Nice idea  Although i don't understand the name of your faction. It reminds me of ice cream 
Maybe you can introduce peasants/an angry mob as core, so either the witch hunter or purger can move up to elite.

If i may, i find it strange for an inquisition to use demons to do their bidding.
Also, instead of Accuser, maybe go with Interrogator.
You could also use Banishers, Exorcists, Minor Angels in elite

Hmm... something like a "Rabble/Mob" unit could take the place of a "bulk" size unit and move up the Purgers to Elite. I'll consider it.

1) Presently it's a little past my usual bed time, so the demon idea was probably borne of "I want a full line of elites; I'll deal with champions later." I'm probably going to replace that particular unit at a later time.
2) It did cross my mind, yes. That said, I'm wondering if "Interrogator" should replace "Inquisitor" as the upgrade unit and have Inquisitor instead serve as the Magic Hero class.
3) Thank you for the suggestions. I have put a little thought towards using a variation of angel, but the specifics of such are too much for my presently sleep-deprived mind. Filing that under "review while awake."
EDIT: Renamed "Binder" to "Exorcist" because it's roughly what I was aiming for but the right word didn't come to mind, and "Inquisitor" to "Interrogator".

How about Pilgrim/Fanatic? You know, people who have reallly NO strength but their will to give their own lives for the purpose of the Inquisition...and they are NUMEROUS!
Overall I like to see some "Dark Haven" (or "Destructive Haven" here! )

Depends on how you view them but it would require a good Lore text to explain it, certainly!
...but I always think it interesting to have "Redeemer" Units...how about a Fallen Angel aiming to become a full angel again by slaying demons for the Inquisition.
For Inquisitors...I suspect they would be the heroes of the town?! Would at least make msot sense
Depending on how you view the Inquisition it might also be possible to have some holy construct ... you know, constructs can certainly never be defiled orcorrupted by demons and some anti-corruption theme should definitely be in....now thinking about that I imagine some Demon-ability-stopping Subskill/perk...that sounds nice to me...
