Lets hear it
Mostly one thing I hate more then anything is when the opposite sex argues whos better & how they think they are so powerful because it degrading.
I never been raised like that.
So I would apreciate if everyone will post their opinion here for if you dont I will have to agree with there should be certain taverns for us & I dont really mind.
BUT I may also be jumping the gun & I know I do that alot but I am dead serious that these put downs & saying how much better either of us are is not right, & believe me I have my enemies here who dont like my honesty or take what I say the wrong way like some people do from the past.

The Girls Vs Boys convos only start with provocation, Accy. I mean.. sexist threads like 'Oh, female gamers, isn't that funny?' are just there to annoy... u have to expect these things... but I went to an all girls secondary school... trust me, single sex arenas are scary and full of catfights.

So you can see how I'd have to say my piece there... we are all intense people hear and go overboard, I think.. Youhave already IM'd me a lot about this kinda stuff and I respect that it's upsetting you... I think it's really a job for Val and the Mod's though... they can sort this stuff at the end of the day.. so e-mailing them with your concerns might be better....

I think it is more complicated then that, it seems alot more then you think are in this kind of fued & how can you change a person how they really feel.
Sure everyone goes overboard & it happens but I seen some threads here recently that is really terrible & the replies dont make it any better.
I loce for people to have a good time hear & would do anything to help but I am like Mocara & will speak my mind.
Like I said if I am wrong I wont say anymore in this thread

You can't change things
just by saying 'oh yeah, that's not right' and then doing nothing about it.. Go Forward. Send Val an ICQ or something. Tell him that you don't like the direction things are going in.. the boards are his baby, and he will listen if he thinks they are being abused.

You are right but no I just wont post anymore hardly I think this has gone to the point where it's gotten to far. I tried to be nice but get talked down I tried being reasonable but I get talked down.
It's not right of me to say anything if I am the only person with this opinion & I think I am wrong I will stop posting in this thread now I really feel bad.

Yo! Aculias, I agree with you. In fact, I don't really read those threads. But I guess people just started those threads for fun - I think I can say that for Cat at least. And I think most of them were kind of just joking around when they posted in it, and don't really mean what they said. I would suggest if you don't like it, well then don't read it; and more importantly, don't let it bothers you!
I suppose time has changed, and nowadays more often then not, people would think that no one gender is ultimately better or worse than the other (or is it just me...?). I believe though Male and Female can never be equal; there are things that generally a male can do better than a female and vice versa. Well, at least at the moment, it seems so. However, if Darwin is right with his theory, perhaps there may come a time when male and female becomes "completely equal". Then again, till then, the terms of male and female may have already been redefined or even ceased to exist altogether.
