Real Life Myths and Legends

Though Myths and Legends are considered storyes with, or without any sense, that are not real, I believe in some. I didn't know if this would be posted on the Tavern of Rising Sun, or in OSM, because it fits them both good.
First of all, I want to start by saying that some myths are more realistical, or peoples claim them to be more real than other legends, or myths.

I'll start out by, IMO, the most knowned, or believed myths:
SLENDERMAN
Many peoples claimed that this ''non-faced man'', that wears a black suit, and tie, makes his place on towns, on forests...
Nobody knows what made him be that way. Some peoples that claimed to see him are classified today as crazy, insane peoples. But indeed, some photos reveal him to be a true man. Look at this picture:

Although it can be photoshoped, I believe it to be more true. However, this was only one spot. Peoples that were believed to spot him, died, or well... Noone heard about them, whatever could it be that ''non-faced man''.
Some peoples really came out to be crazy, or that's how they look. Here, watch this:

This one represents an interview with a guy called Thomas reporting that he met him

Just found that this was a recovered footage by Thomas, exactly the same man. I don't know if I would believe him

This one represents a 911 call that is made by a young girl, witch describes Slender Man.

The both describe the same tall man, with that suit, tie, and that white figure.
The first seems like a crazy man's story, yes, but at least believeble.
The second one seems pretty tricked, photoshoped, because, as I know, Slender Man doesn't talk.

More rumors say that he had some tentacles, in addition, it scares the victims, and before getting the victims, provoke headaches, and stomachaches.

I am a believer, I believe in many things like aliens, like rumors, but only some seem pretty descriptive, pretty believable.

And to mention something:
-You can post some Legends, Myths, that you believe in, or think they're real.
-Please, don't SPAM, or junk post. Indeed this topic is a OSM, and deserves more attention or respect.

Well, by false, that means YOU to create it. Or even someone you know. It doesn't mean that thinks like Jeff The Killa' and Slenderman are in this category.
I guess they're legends, so whatever... They are not real though...

you are officially as old as my niece.

slenderman should be in the vw. the osm isn't a place to claim stupid internet trends are legends(especially ones that lead retards to kill other kids, ffs), unless it is a serious discussion on the effects these beliefs have on impressionable children who don't have the sense to seperate bullsnow from reality. not that children are the only demographic afflicted with this problem.

You both guys want to send the thread to VW. First of all, Slender was the first page. The thread is all about legends and myths. It wasn't all resumed to a stupid internet rumor.

Once you saw Jurassic park, you will no longer believe whatever a pic or movie shows.

Sorry for OT, I just want to say I don't think simply because it may seem like a "silly" subject, that it can't be discussed in an interesting way.

While I don't know how much can be achieved on the subject of whether the phenomena described is true or not.. I think the subject itself, its story and how it has affected and evolved in different societies could potentially be rather interesting.
