Ok, that's fine with me, bug consciousness is not so bad really, at least in the case of incarnating phantom forces. It’s kind of interesting really, it’s a two-step process and if everyone is aware of possibility that just gives mages one extra point that they need anyway, so I suppose some FAQ is enough.
In the case of barbarian cattle skin spellbook I suppose additional approach is available. It is possible to make both Ralling Cry and Word of the Chief level 3 warcry, Battlecry and Horde's Anger level 2 and Fear My Roar and Call of Blood level 1 warcry, so if anyone wants to expand on standard perks, they can do that with no fear of losing standard multivariability.

Bug1:
Lion crown/necklace/cape
even though I am wearing all thee artifacts, each artifact only reports 1 of the set being worn. Bonus still applies (why change it to attack though? it was more interesting bonus before).
Bug2:
According to the manual (the most recent available on your site), assassin heroes are not supposed to be able to learn leadership skills? Yet my assassins can learn leadership skills.
either a bug in game, or in the manual.
Also, for some reason my assassins ONLY gain defense stat as they level up, even though that is supposed to the least probable (10%). really. both gained 8 levels so far, both gained 8 defense each, and no other stats.

@Skeggy: I don't mess up something else to fix a neglectable issue
Bug1: The old set bonuses were heavily bugged and unfixable, they stacked up even if the hero wasn't wearing them.
Bug2: mine cannot, you likely have some conflicting map or mod installed

the set bonuses were not bugged for the lion set in the latest version of ToTE. not like I haven't been playing it for the last 5 years. I would have noticed. nothing wrong with the lion set bonus. worked perfectly.
there are no other mods installed. The map is "Defiance" which is a map that came with ToTE, so a standard map. I ran the map through the mapmixer utility before I played it in 5.5rc9b
if something is wrong, it must lie there.
If it doesn't work correctly on all maps, specific note should be made of that.
I've given up on that map, and will try one of the ARMG maps that came with 5.5.
...
now playing an RMG with water using utility64 and mapmixer.
I notice the spellbook graphics are distorted (playing at 1080p). circles are squashed into horizontal ovals.
Is that standard?

I also think that preserving game’s original symmetries is important. However, that way of thinking needs to be scrutinized more precisely, and not only because ralling cry and word of the chief are very similar to prayer and encourage, and because leveling of all warcries is totally unnecessary since they all have spell cost and barbarians don’t have much mana, but also because all around effect is the same as if all warcries were available at level one barbarian mage guild (hall of trial), without barbarian hero level prerequisites.
Hall of courage and hall of might are indeed used for shaman and witches spelltree development and that is excellent, but, all warcries could easily be placed at level one barbarian mage guild (hall of trial) with no serious (or any other) significant impact on gameplay.
This problem of four standard perks squeezing out two level three warcries is important in a sense that it might have significant impact on gameplay.

@Ichtyic: the bug i spoke about was in the new AI source code, and i was not going to remove the entire Ai over it.
unless leadership was gained from a scripted witch hut it is technically impossible assassins get leadership, for that a file must have been overwritten.
@Skeggy: The player needs to be forced to make the resource investments, because other players need to make those investments too. The issue is not significant because regardless of what faction you are playing taking too many active abilities is mostly a bad idea since they all have a full ATB reset and there isn't enough time to invest them in the battle.
Just like any bug a bug will be fixed when I find the way to do it.

It is true that casting prayer and encourage produce full ATB reset, but casting any warcry without shout skill also produces full ATB reset. And shout skill is not available by default to all chieftains. And closest similar warcries to prayer and encourage cost mana. Also, avenging strike, chain attack and retaliation strike cost only half a turn.
It depends on a playstyle, but it is correct to claim that having all four standard perks is smart and perhaps best resource investment of any chieftain who doesn’t have shout skill.
Once again, I don’t see a reason not to modify warcries hierarchy. Possible modification not only enriches gameplay style and is absolutely neutral to all game elements, but also provides perhaps best possible configuration for chieftains without shout.

i have a wierd problem thet whenever i start and reach almost mounth 2 the game stop responding when its loading the AI turn
i have tried alot of things including letting it sit for a hour
it happend in every single game so far
i play on iu maps with 8p(just the way i like it)
idc if by fixing it ill have to delete my save
im dying to finally finish a game in this
would be really happy im someone knows how to fix this

I have a problem with one of my game. The cursor keeps changing back and forth from normal cursor (the horse cursor) with the waiting cursor (the hourglass one).
This only happen is one of my games, not others.

for some reason the @H55_WTF(); doesnt do anything
it doesnt say its unknown just doesnt do anything
what should i do?

Ok that is actually good news, because it means there is a serious installation issue and not something wrong with your PC or H55.
If the game is correctly installed the command will return "H55 is running fine"

Did a totally clean install this time, making sure I wasn't using any fan mods or mods of my own.
I'm noticing when I am editing ARMG maps, some heroes appear unavailable to place or put in a garrison.
example:
I wanted to put Davius (Academy: Seer) in a town garrison, but he does not appear in the list.
nor do I see him if I look at map properties, and the entire hero list.
so how does one get these heroes onto a custom map?
edit: lol, I see the info is in your post right above mine. just copypasta.

tried some of them every one thet i tried didnt do any thing
i tried visible things like the nofog and speedrun they didnt work and it didnt say "unknown command" like it does when i type a random thing
