Looking good and fresh
I dont really like the idea of Juggernaut being champion(3 humanoids is enough, some beast could take that spot I think..) but other than that its great indeed, love the idea of aztecs, and the chitin hound is simply awesome

Originally I planned a gorilla-like champion instead of the juggernaut, but I decided against that. The gorilla will be a neutral creature though. Four humanoids isn't too much for this faction, since they're all unique.

Update: Magic utilization of factions. There are 9 magic schools - elemental (air, earth, fire, water), purification (for lack of a better name), necromancy (dark magic), arcane (Academy), runic (Bastion) & blood (Temple). More info soon.

I really like your ideas so far! But I must asmit I'm not sure if having multiple models for each creature is a great idea

Thanks! I haven't thought through that aspect, but I guess it would be minor edits like longer spear/sword, larger axe/hammer/shield, less/more armor, different color schemes, etc.
BTW I finally added the last faction line-up, Bastion. Now I can think about other aspects.

Yeah I plan on adding all of the skills, but I decided to fully develop my concepts, story, game mechanics, magic schools, etc. first.
There will be original paintings/concept art. Though, those line-ups are final. At least for the factions that are revealed.
Artifacts will have different usages, for example some artifact sets will be able to alter the appearance of the creatures in the hero's army. Since there will be no creature upgrades (at least, not like regular upgrades), the artifact sets will add some variation to the appearance. Creature abilities will be different as well.
