I don't think you should listen so much on what others say if you have something clear to do in your mind. If you wanted to make sketches of war machines, do so. Although you could keep the sketches as drafts, meaning no coloring etc if you want to make them faster and then color them in the end.

Please dont cut off warfare units ! I always loved them and if you plan to do different look for each faction warmachines, I really wonder how will it look

You could always do the warfare units last if you think they'd stop your progress too much.
i like the knight. A bit too much faff for my tastes but certainly better than ubi designs as it reminds me a lot of NWC designs, just more stuff on them. It's good is what i'm saying and the extra bits doesn't get in the way as much as they could. solid work

i liked your line-up for rampart. i can imagine how awesome it can be
also liked havens "not-so-balanced all round" line-up. 2 elte flyers, both attacking types. factions need different tactics in line-ups so its good imho.
dungeon, eh.. isnt it too clasical? i think it may have atleast one new creature 
art is good, but i have to say that i miss angels of h3, that style is my favourite.

Well it's slow, as I'm also working on other things. However, I'm currently working on the minotaur, with ideas forming for the likes of the dryad and amazone...

Well it seems I need to make the angel similar to the h3 one. 
Don't worry, it will be different. A lot different!
As for dungeon *cough* arachne *cough*, I could replace the manticore...

Awesome job with the minotaur! 
I really like the face. It looks like he means business Also nice touch with the armor and clothes. Not at all overly armored.
The one sided axe is a great idea. We see too much double edged axes in my opinion nowadays. It somehow makes him seem even more badass.

Nice job indeed
It reminds me the one from H5 (fur waist, severed chains) but still looks different. I think he could more masculine but otherwise its good.

I have started to consider what factions to add next. I wont officially add anything before I'm + 12 pictures, but I can still start considering.
So far is Academy, Sanctuary, Fortress, Citadel (swamp faction) and Cove some of the most likely, but I will max add two.

Maybe I don't understand all the choices for the line-ups but your drawings are really nice ! especially wyvern looks really great with those colors, might be even better than the wyvern we got in HVII ^^

Arachne looks a bit like D&D drider. I don't have much against it (well, maybe changing the color, so it is at least subtle), but I know there are some that don't like units taken from that series.
