Maybe some artifacts form H6 like Dynasty Weapons(Model and base ability), Artifact Sets.

I don't know how to port models from h6 to h5, i have also noticed ported models are too small scaled. H6 also uses a generic artifact container for many artifacts, I don't know which of the current artifacts has a useful model in H6.

The scale can be changed in other programs, and Archangel imported. I say look for models in other games, no heroes VI. I might look like, or touch the icon with new models. The only problem that still do not get it to work transparency: S, but the artifacts are usually opaque textures. TSoD and you think I hit one, it would be great if you could explain it ..... I have two weeks fighting with it.

I doubt that would lead to better result than what we have now, those will not be models of the artifacts.

Not sure what you want me to tell you, I have only experience making 2d textures, nothing else.

I am trying to enable these NAF artifacts in my favourite vanilla map: Double Confrontation.
I load the map into MMH5.5 editor:
Go to View -> Map Properties -> Artifacts -> Check All -> OK
If I then re-enter Map Properties and look at the artifacts list, all the NAF ones are unchecked again.
Am I using the editor wrong? Or is it simply the NAF artifacts can't be used in old maps?

Open your map with winrar - go to Maps/Multiplayer/Mapname/map.xdb.
1. Scroll down till <artifactIDs>.
2. Delete all between <artifactIDs> and </artifactIDs>
3. Delete <artifactIDs>
4. move the / to the end of artifactIDs so it looks this way <artifactIDs/>
5. Save
Should work

I already activated and included all artifacts on vanilla maps, so you should actually just remove this map from your maps folder.
Tip!: 4P-Standard with water setting template will generate same map design as double confrontation, but with much more new H55 content

I believe the vanilla Double Confrontation map in MMH5.5 also does not have NAF artifacts enabled.
I have tested it out quite thoroughly by starting games with the wizards and quickly building the artifact merchant. Not once in 5 or 6 games has a NAF artifact appeared.

No this isn't possible, I still have to update the editor template to make it possible to place them on the adventure map.

delete the map in your maps folder because it is overwriting the good one in the data files. I got NAF artifacts the first time I ran it.

Is there a way to enable NAF artifacts in old user created maps? For example fiur's 'The Giants'?

You shouldn't touch the settings in the editor, afterwards. they should remain all unchecked.
