Ashan mixed up towns.
I'm sick and in bed so i had time for this.
Basically imagine your vanilla towns (Haven, Necro, Inferno, Stronghold, Sylvan, etc) with the flavor of other faction. A hot mess right? I agree but i did think some ideas of it anyway, based in H7 lineups. It's mostly about faction aesthetics since im not good at the abilities thing.
Dark Elven Sylvan
This town period would be set during Tuidhana's reigh in Tarlad, with the forest darkening and stuff like that. Rather than being the happy nature town Sylvan always has been, it would be more based in the Fey/Fair Folk legends and Dionysian myths. I was thinking in this quote
“Elves are wonderful. They provoke wonder.
Elves are marvellous. They cause marvels.
Elves are fantastic. They create fantasies.
Elves are glamorous. They project glamour.
Elves are enchanting. They weave enchantment.
Elves are terrific. They beget terror.
The thing about words is that meanings can twist just like a snake, and if you want to find snakes look for them behind words that have changed their meaning.
No one ever said elves are nice.
Elves are bad.”
So yeah.
Core
Fae/Tuatha
For the fae/Tuatha i think that something like H7 sprite meets Midna from zelda would be cool. Pale blue skin, dead pink/red/black/ "clothes" and wings would pretty cool
Nymph/Lampade
I think that something like a very very pale green would fit the nymph. The upgrade would become purpleish and would either either have glowing hands or some sort of glowing orbs above their heads, surrounded by a crown. These would be the dryads born to the dark forest that became Tarlad. The Lampades, just like the dryads help their kind by lighting the way to safe places and by luring away intruders
Stalker/Hunter or Huntress
I think this would be our normal hunter. Frankly i dont care about the gender of this unit. The colors of their clothes would depend of what colors turned the forest during that time so it could be dark dry green, earthen colors, orange colors, etc. I'd like red and black like the current one.
Elite
Faun/Satyr
This is basically our blade dancer with a mythological coat of paint. Like the dark elven skirmisher shown during voting it would wield some sort of spear (since frankly i associate spears more with greeks than swords). The Faun would look like your normal satyr, with dark brown fur and beard. The upgrade (like the blade dancer) would feature a whitening hair and black fur. He'd also wear minor armor in same same color scheme of the Hunter
Maenad/Maenad Oracle
The lineup take on the druidess. Malassa whispers apprently make people kinda crazy, which reminds me of the meanads. The base and upgrade would look rather simiar (white pale ladies with messy white hair and a crown of leaves) but the upgrade would gain a golden grown and the hide of a leopard or some feline. Both would wield an accorn staff
Basically this meets this

Darksteed/Nightmare
I dont think i need to talk too much about this one. dark blue unicorn, upgrade becomes black gets an ornate hairstyle and blue paterns in their body/hooves.
Champion
Treant/Undergrove Treant
Your typical treant, except black. The upgrade becomes grey/white like dessicated and glows with purple or blue.
Black Dragon/Shadow Dragon. I dont even need to talk about this one. Tone down the number of eyes/purple glow in the unupgraded version so its looks more black.
Coming next (if i arse to) Demonic Necropolis

Ain't that a pratchett quote?
Also, it sounds fun so far!

Does sound like a cool experiment and such. Would like some clearer structure (titles, categories and the like) sectioned off with fonts, underline, bold and the like. Hard to navigate at the moment.

Demonic Necropolis
The walls of Sheogh were shattered by Sareth's decision. Now Hordes of demons pour forth Ashan and on top of that, incarnate demons are using the bodies of the fallen to join the fight
Core
Possesed/Risen
The possesed are humans whose bodies got hijacked when on the brink of death, while the Risen are the bodies of people who actually died. The possesed spend the rest of their (generally short) unlives in agony, their skin burning from the inside with chaos magic and their minds being twisted by the occupying demon, giving their bodies a zombie-like appeareance and warped facial expressions of pain. The risen are luckier in that sense, if they souls arent trapped by demons that's it. Chaos magic mutations and their own decay leaves them looking like nothing more than armored skeletons. However this is bad news for the living, since this makes then more resilent to blows and the risen feel no pain at all.
Onibi/Hitodama
First seen by the Naga, who gave them their respective name, these is the destiny of the souls captured by demons. Appearing as flying fires in the horizon, its clear when they aproach that they actually look like humans dressed in fire. The Hitodama come from people specially resentful at the time of their deaths, and they shine red and purple magic.
Breeder/Matriarch
Mockeries of Asha's sacred spiders, crawling in 8 legs to the battlefields. Matriarchs also have the nasty ability to infest their foes with their breedlings by bite, which leaves them special vulnerable to dark magic.
Elite
Incubus/Incubus Seducer
Dashing through the battlefield, the Incubi appareance contrasts heaavily with their savage behavior. Incubi have a penchant for drinking their enemies blood. Eventually they turned that kink into something useful by imbuing themselves with spells that made them gain back their vitality through blood drinking. On top of that the Incubi Seducers outworldly beauty distracts their enemies to the point where they are always to react before their them, making the seducters unable to be flanked.
Cultist/Hierophant
Several doomsday cults have risen to prominence in the Silver Cities along the demons. Their usage of robes and bone masks, chestplates and gloves conceal their genders and identities. Never one to waste good opportunities, Kha-Beleth is using these red clad, powerful wizards as magical artillery
Orthrus/Cerberus
two heads/three heads
Champion
Omen/Horseman
A mounted version of the H3 devil. Less cheesy looking tho
Chaos Dragon/Abomination
the abbysal worm meets H4 megadragon
------------
I've been thinking maybe Human Inferno or Human Stronghold. Perhaps Mages Inferno. We'll see
