collector's edition mess
I'm really pissed, sad and disappointed right now. I don't even know where to begin. I pre-ordered the damn thing from Ubisoft and what was sent over wasn't even to me wasn't half the stuff that was Advertised in the Collector's Edition. The physical copy of the game and the Soundtrack CD wasn't there. The box didn't even come in cellophane.

I think this is not Ubies problem. Someboy nicked/loted your box :-(
I would report this to Ubi and asked the delivering company

And that's exactly why to suspect it was looted. Contact Ubi support and your delivery carrier immediately. Be sure to provide picture proof and proof of purchase and god knows what else they need 
Hope you get it sorted out.

thanks everyone for your help, im having an unusual bug...
the name on my Dungeon Faction town aren't repeating, no matter how many times i go out and in the castle... right now, iim halfway through downlaoding the damn 11 GB Patch... just wondering, whats the dwelling place name of the Medusa?

Thank you both for the answers! 
i jsut played through two hours of this game and to be honest, it isn't half as bad as I was expecting it to be. sure, most of the ideas were halfbaked but the game in and of itself is pretty good.
amidst the forgivable bugs i came across, i was wondering, are heroes defeated in battles supposed to gain EXP? is this a bug or something new to the series because i honestly dont know?

I agree, it isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. I even got used to static council scenes XP
H5 on release was much better and if Limbic continues patching it (and finishing it, it is clear that the game was rushed because Ubi wanted it to be out around the anniversary) and improving it, I think it will be a really nice game.
I think it is intentional that defeated heroes gain XP. After all, you learn even more from defeats than from victories  (and possibly helps in balance and survival).

I haven't gotten mine. At least not yet, I just borrowed my boyfriend's copy and has been immersed in it ever since, almost forgot how pissed I was that I never got mine, lol

Long story short: Ubisoft did not include any copy of the game in the US version of the Collector's Edition, even though a physical DVD was advertised and presented in the unboxing.
All CE buyers have to contact customer support with proof of purchase to receive a digital copy. Ubisoft is refusing to issue refunds.

But this practically means they are violating the law, right? I mean they clearly advertised the copy of the game inside the edition and none has been issued. So this means everyone, with that "experience", can practically sue Ubisoft for that?

Yes, it's a straightforward case of false advertising. The huge reddit thread is likely to scare ubi into either issuing refunds or distributing the already existing DVD versions (they are in the EU version, after all) to all owners of the US CE.
Of course, it's going to hurt Ubisoft's profit margin either way. With the terrible sales and the 38% user score on Steam, they're probably going to consider the whole franchise as a write-off now.
