This is because the Mark of Nature is an Earth Magic effect. Troglodytes are immune to Earth.
But there's something odd: Heroes can still apply the Mark of Nature to a creature through their attacks, even if a creature is immune to Earth. In my opinion, the spirit of the racial skill should make it apply to any target, regardless of resistances or immunity.
We're actually re working how this racial is applied to creatures with immunity, as well as looking at changing the damage types with Pixies and Dryads (they also do earth damage and in some scenarios this can be problematic)
Thanks for the report Lanteen, we're aware of this issue and looking to get a hotfix in for it, we've identified the problem however getting solid reproduction steps is our issue right now to let the testers know what to do.

There are still bugs like legionnaire's adjacent allies losing retaliation so I'd give it another patch or two.

It's a feature. If you move the cursor over the boot in their stats it shows "ghost walk". Saying they can move through other units.

I think it s time to seriously discuss necromancy,before it s too late. I believe they will try to fix it with a very silly method and we are going to rage why they didn't follow the tested h5 formula.

H5 method was fun, but it was annoying when you would kill more than you could raise and would walk away from battles with nothing.
With the way it is now (only raising skeleton and ghosts), I'd say the h3 method is best. A percentage of the total enemies hp, which should be lowered due to the high amount of neutral creatures on the adventure map, and still limited to the amount of creatures you fought. So you won't raise 100 skeletons for fighting 5 cavaliers for example. You can only raise up to 5.

sounds equally good too. will the devs think of it? that's the real question I wonder how they will try to balance necromancy./
necropolis is pretty much unplayable with all the wrong classes for its heroes and necromancy. it's my favorite faction and i still can't play it.

bear in mind that necro on a hard map will have extremely hard time and lose a lot in the beginning. 1000 skeletons in the end is beatable. I like green The_Green_Drag idea about h3, I had the same thoughts btw.
Dungeon
It seems they nerfed Shade`s poison. Now it deals 2 dmg per shade in the first turn. Dungeon have very hard time comparing to other factions like haven, stronghold, sylvan. Something has to be done with this -either
1) increase damage of trackers/stalkers
2) increase poison of shades
3) increase growth of assassins/shades
Shades are so miserable with 11 hp and 1 def. It doesn`t help dungeon that it has access to the worst creeping spells in the beginning - dark, earth, prime.
Tell me what can I expect to do with by lowering attack of a core creature. If I get Stone skin it doesn`t help also much. Fortune, despair are just too situational to rely on them. I am not talking about mass fortune on medusae .. I am talking before we get there.
All those schools are inferior for creeping than Air(Storm Arrows, Lightning burst), Water(For shroud, blizzard), Fire(fire bolt), light(heal, sun beam).
It is possible to make things work with the inferior school but dungeon needs a little more something but now it has all the bad cards actually.

I say they up the stats of all dungeon creatures, increase their cost, and take a little from the weekly growth.
I don't have a problem with winning as dungeon though. And I have never bought striders

They fixed Striders and now they only need one building before them. I am not saying that dungeon are not strong in final battle but stronghold are very strong too while they have the easiest creeping.
Why no dungeon love?

I tried a LAN sim turns multiplayer game with my mates(3 human players, 1 AI player) yesterday, and while it did seem to take longer(in previous versions we usually got an out of sync at around week 2), we still got out of sync issues during week 4, during the AI players turn. We were able to go on for a bit afterwards but it froze eventually. So I guess it's better? Still not really acceptable, though.
On a sidenote, the watch/wait for eachothers battles "feature" in sim turns is godawful and really needs to be removed.

Dungeon as a whole is a huge mess imo. I don't really ever start games as them, I prefer to just take them over and steal the hydras and Minos.
Ubi doesn't seem to know what to do with them. H5 they were spell casters, h6 they were invisible assassins, now they're sorta blood rage assassin hybrids that can attack strike twice? Their racial GM ability is cool, but the rest of it seems rushed and unimaginative.
having two core shooters could have given them the power they need to creep better. I have to rely on assassins to do the damage early on and when I lose too many, it becomes really hard.
I'd like for them to rethink dungeons racial, and keep the GM ability...somehow. While going back to their roots of having some (most) of the strongest and most expensive creatures available.
Dungeon as it is now doesn't make me wanna play them. Their line up is certainly nothing special so they just have nothing going for them.

Ye also there are 4(out of 12) heroes without Exploration in their lineup. This translates to overall slower system - main hero/secondary heroes.
If they don't fix the watch/wait issue than we are never gonna have multiplayer scene.

What what is? The only thing that appears odd is that the Gnoll Hunters have no range (says - instead of half/full), but I am guessing you're in a Week of Storms. There's a weekly effect marker on the Gnolls anyway; if that's a Week of Storms, then it's correct, because during that week, ranged attacks don't work.

I think it is bugged right now. If I strike some stack with luck it should lose its turn no matter if that turn will be next round. Right now I can only incapacitate creatures in the current round.
Another part of the bug is that I can hit already incapacitated creatures without any effect on them.

I just read a large majority of this new topic thread and,
I get to think that the gradual patching of Heroes VII is not working properly and, that it has created unwanted new bugs + unforeseen side-effects from fixing other previous bugs that might not have been real bugs after all.
My suggestion is to literally uninstall completely the game, clean out your PC's registry out of its previous installation's existence and, defragment fully your HDD to fill the clusters of where the game was, previously install to. Then, re-download the latest build of the game, which in turn, is automatically the version 1.5 of it and, do clean install of it.
So, in the future, if after patching the game via the auto. patching feature of the game, gets to make unwanted results such as bugs that weren't there before. That will mean a clean re-install of the game.
Uplay's ways of function is very similar to Steam and, most of the time, that is the only way to fix many game breaking bugs that weren't meant to be there in the first place.
p.s.: I wrote this post out of my own experience and long time dealing with game configurations gone awry via these new game browsing clients such as Steam and, now, Uplay. Steam's maker is called Valve and, Uplay's maker is called Ubisoft.
Have a wonderful day renewing the installation of this not so bad game, everybody.

Now, all 7 titles can be played on Windows 10 Home/Pro Editions. Thanks to the good ole' Gog.com people, all the series can be played on any decent multi-core PC.
