In Paris, they killed twice more, and we can't buy guns. So, no.
kiryu133 said: is there where I point out that factually, you are over 5 times more likely to be killed by a white right-wing extremist than a Muslim in EU/USA?
Facts?
Of course, if you, each time, say "this isn't Islam", then you won't recognize any casualties.
kiryu133 said: It is not "Islam" that did this but a lone man
The lone man disagrees. He said he represents Islam. Are you now an Islam expert to know when a musulman is or not a musulman?

Can I have a link to that statistic?
And also, why are you not hesitant to link the white right-wing extremist's motivation to his ideology but only the radical Muslim's?

@Sal. Of course Islam is not disconnected from this, he had friggin ties to Isis. Also the prime reason for his homophobia has it's roots in his religion. Abrahamic religions tend to hate gays.
Quote: You either support gay's right to life, or you tolerate Islam. Pick a snowing side.
This is simply retarded. Gays and Muslims can co-exist in western world without much problem. No need to pick a side.
Oh btw, I didn't hear an apology from you for wrongly accusing me of supporting the term "white rape culture".

Not sure if adequate, but here and here. granted, they're about USE specifically. I have lost the one about europe (it's been a while)but the numbers were rather high.

I'm not quite sure I get what you are saying. I'm not saying the man here isn't muslim? Just that that jumping on the "Islam is Eeeeeevil" hate-train is not very warranted and reeks of pure racism.

Please enlighten me as to when Islam and religion overall became a subject of race, for I must have missed that part in school.

Of course, some people don't care about the facts because it won't meet the reality they've created for themselves out of fear and paranoia.
During the 70s in Italy you were equally likely to be killed by a far-right extremist than a left-wing extremist.
Also, it was the far-left that kidnapped and eventually killed our prime minister, while the far-right exploded a square.
Wait, I got in a tangent.
The guy was a leftie...
Oh, right, we're seeing only now a ramping up of Muslim extremist attacks in the west, that statistic is going to change if this trend goes on.
EDIT::
Since I'm late, religion and race tend to not be connected, maybe at the exception of Jews, but whites can also convert to Islam, in Cechenya there are Slav Muslims if I recall correctly.
If anything, saying that all Muslims are terrorists would be "Islamophobic"

Religion and race - those are two very different things, don't draw them over the same line matey.
Saying all muslims are terrorists does not mean you are a Islamophobic, because such a statement need not be driven from fear, it can be from hate, personal experiences etc. Xenofobia or anti-culturalistic is probably a better word for it.

Look, of course not not all Muslims are radicals. I have dozens of family members and friends who are living abroad. Some are citizens of U.S. for decades, some are married to local Europeans. Some would reply "muslim" if you ask them which faith they're from but none of them are what you would call a significantly religious person. (Although, Turkey being a secular state since 1931 and me not having a conservative social circle is a factor in this, they are more "Westernized" than your average ethnically Muslim immigrant.)
However, you sometimes sound as if the guy being radicalized by Islamic doctrine is just a detail like him being a brunette or brown-eyed. And that's not taking into consideration a very important part of the equation.

His faith might be a large part of the reasoning, I don't deny that (and apologies if that was the vibes given off). I don't think it is the only or even the primary reason however and should not be the only focal point. The fact that he had access to fully automatic weaponry in the first place should.

Yes, he had access to fully automatic weaponry but so did the shooters in Paris. Even if he did not what if he decided to just knife a gay man, why did he do it in the first place is important, and given who he tried to draw relations to I think I know. I am curious now, why do you think he did it?

It is troublesome indeed, but like I write above, you can access guns, automatics and TNT like C4 in any country.
Edit: @Gryths, ye but considering it was France, I am surprised they did order more explosives.

Simply no, they are banned in the US, he had a semi-automatic rifle, a semi AR-15, which, means it had the same rate of fire of a pistol, an hunting rifle, or any other "civilian" gun.
To be fully automatic he basically would have needed to be a great smuggler, because he would have to take it from the army, and if he managed to do that would mean that there are far more pressing issues than gun control.
