Here's how to find and use the RMG feature
First of all, launch the editor that has its own icon onto your Desktop window.
Click on File => New Map => New Random Adventure Map button onto a new pop-up menu.
Then, Map name to identify it faster as to which one is the Editor's R.M.G. made map. Map Type@Skirmish + Uncheck: Use Multiple themes.
Click on Create and Open button and, wait until the editor does all of the items placements on the desired map selected.
Then, go to the Open the Map Properties and, use the Players tab to literally set the players on that newly generated map starting with you the main player. Giving a name to that human player is quite recommended.
Click the OK button to close the map properties. Then, click onto the play button to launch the map and game in the same time. Wait for it since it takes quite a little while for the game to set things up.
This Editor is literally dedicated to map makers so, in turn, the same method is used for all other human players or, some AI players to be inserted onto that randomized map in order to make a multi-player map(obviously designed for HotSeat mode and have no idea about the online approach of multi-player).
Now, the only way you, the host of the map being played, can save this newly made map is: all players must have played for several minutes then use the usual save game option in the menu that is pictured with gears on the lower-right corner of the screen.
Here is the hilarious part. The only way you can reload this map is through the Editor. As the editor is acting as being the main game also. The worse part is: the map that was so-called saved, turns out to be nowhere in sight. Another game breaking bug, for now, anyway.
Therefore, generate and set your game and, make sure you and your pals have a good 12 hours of free time in order to literally finish that game's map.

Have you checked in Documents/my games/H7 etc?
Usually recent games store most temporary things there.

Good Call Salamandre: Found it here =>C:UsersLuc J. PatenaudeDocumentsMy GamesMight & Magic Heroes VIIMMH7GameAutosaves
Is that the proper path for it? It mentions that the file is well over 17.x Megabytes in size.
Will have to reload it some other time. Thanks for the help.

Luc, please check before posting wrong info. Everything below this paragraph is total nonsense. After the map is generated you simply save it in AdventureMaps folder by giving it a name. Close editor and open the game and you should see a map with your given name.

Never mind what I posted before.
The R.M.G. map can not be saved no matter how Natalka explains it to me.
It stays stuck in the Autosaves folder and, refuses to be saved anywhere else.
I am sadly, seriously giving up this, really badly designed map making program.
Lost the equivalent of a whole week's worth of hours trying to save my R.M.G. maps.

C:\Users\****\Documents\My Games\Might & Magic Heroes VII\MMH7Game\CustomMaps\AdventureMaps
This folder is the folder which is created automatically by the editor and suggested on the offical board also.
What is on point with your post suggesting playing the map from the editor, saving a game, setting names for each player. These steps are totally useless I don`t know what force made you come up with strange findings.
EDIT: here is a video how to do it. It is that simple and yes I am on 64bit machine. I don`t know what you messed up with your file system. I saved the map in the folder in the beginning of my post.

OK. Found the silly mistake I was making...
and, turns out that I was trying to save through that dialogue box instead of through the File menu's feature of Save as.
Will try it this afternoon. Worked like a charm and, with no bugs nor glitches the whole time I played my new RMG made map.
Just for the record: You are still on the good ole' Win. 8.1 and, I am on the genuine full Edition of Win. 10 Home. Saying that, because I saw the Windows upgrade Icon in the lower right corner of your taskbar. Tried to do that and, guess what...It failed gloriously. Only way better specs like PC and a full fledge wiped out, clean of a HDD + with a retail USB stick 3.0 of the full Edition of Win. 10 Home that I happened to fully succeed at installing that newest O.S. with all the features that comes with it. Moreover, you will need to download and install about 4 more important updates onto the newest build of it(1511). Better get at it while there's time to do it(This weekend is the perfect time + just before X-mas as a personal gift to yourself). Trust me, it is worth the effort.
