Heroes 3 Soundtrack (OST)
Greatings and Salutations masters of gaming!
I'm collecting the Soundtrack to my favorite games and have Homm 2 in wave (from CD) and managed to get MM6,7,8,9 in FLAC 
I Love HoMM III Soundtrack (as du we all) but from what I have heard from the birds of internet this have never been released in higher resolution then mp3 (128 kbps - original).
Does anybody know of or have encountered the OST of Heroes of might and magic III, either in Physical CD or to buy via Download in FLAC?
(with the HD release of Heroes 3 the music in included in the .pak files is there by any chance higher resolution on this audio then the original? How can one unpack these files?)

i don't know where you can get higher resolutions(not sure why you'd need higher than mp3's, either), but many different audio tracks can be found on youtube, then converted using clipconverter.cc(an online youtube media converter).

The Music you got from the Millennium Edition realy is pure flac (not just repackaged mp3's) Awesome! (Check in spectrum analysis)
But just to be clear, if I get a hold of the Millennium Edition
are all tracks on the Heroes 3 Soundtrack flac?

Or sorry, are you sure that it was olny the Heroes 2, exchanged Town music, that was in flac?

These three CD-Audio tracks accidentally appeared on the Heroes II Gold CD from Heroes of Might and Magic Millenium Edition compilation instead of 3 Heroes II: Price of Loyalty tracks.

Data/Heroes3.snd opened with MMArchive, can extract as .wav

I'm pretty sure most of you have already heard this unique Fortress town theme from the H3 Dreamcast version (I definitely remember listening to it, maybe even on YouTube), but, nevertheless, here is the extracted WAV for those of you who haven't heard. Enjoy

I think this theme would be a perfect fit for a cancelled Bastion town. Maybe it's already used in some mods for Heroes 3 (including those featuring Bastion). But I was surprised it had been created for Fortress, in the first place.
By the way, if you open properties of this track you will see 1998 as a year of creation.

Cutting Room Floor says that it's Sorceress Town Theme from Millenium (1999) edition - Link
Sorceress was the only town to get its own track in this edition. And I also think it fits Egyptian Bastion well.

Yeah it's the Millennium edition song! I think I've only heard it on youtube, but that's where I remember it from, thanks.
Man the music in Homm2 was so poorly organised, very confusing to keep track of between editions and midi/stereo.
