Poll Question:
H7 Gold edition purchase poll
Imagine Heroes 7 will be patched and developed for an additional year or two and a gold edition will be released with 9 factions and lots of bug fixes/patches/changes (minor, medium, but not “ultra-core” changes and not redesigned from scratch.) Let’s say it’d have a review score of something between average and positive and would cost 40 euro.
Would you buy it?

I voted "no." To me, too much damage has been done to the Heroes series and my interest in it has unfortunately died. It's a shame too, since I've been playing since the the demo for the first game was released in PC Gamer.

It depends really how you determine medium core changes from ultra(some core elements changed vs all of them changed?). If the skill system and AI are still utter crap then definitely no. To me those two are the biggest problems the game has. Related to the skill system are magic system and artifacts. Creature abilities would probably get some changes along the way regardless as new factions get introduced(I'd hope at least). I mean if they just kept copying the classes, spells, artifacts and creature abilities it wouldn't really matter if there is 9 or 19 or 5000 factions when they are so similar to one another.

I probably wont. I'll play II,III or V if I need Heroes experience. I don't believe anything will save VII at this point.

Yes
After great success which was Heroes 7 game, its high budget, bug-free, not-premature release with great new feature like fixed skills, various hero classes, which are totally different one from another (like for example Dungeon Magic classes), useful and powerful hero specializations, game replayability, very low game requirements, this few downloadable maps which have 200+ MB size, different and unique creatures (it's not like you have same line-up only with different skins in nearly all towns, haven't you?) I would be surprised if you wouldn't buy expansion pack/complete edition.

Voted no.
Would rather get the digital download of a Stand-alone expansion that has all factions in(up to 8) and, that its price has been reduced drastically for mass online sales to occur in a minimum time period.
Will not pay more than 15 to 20 Euros for it. That's about 30 to 40 dollars Canadian/American. 80$ for a mere online game? Ha! No way, Jose!

anyone considering giving MORE money to ubisoft for the promise of a version of a game that SHOULD HAVE BEEN RELEASED ORIGINALLY AS THE 7TH INSTALLMENT OF THE SERIES...
all of my wtf.
that this poll wasn't immediately flushed into the wastelands, is beyond my level of understanding. the idea of answering anything other than "snow NO!!!!!!", puts a great stress on my ability to keep calm and centered.
be glad i'm not a mod, because i would have penalyzed anyone answering "yes" to this question(unironically, of course ). hell, i would push to have them banned from hc, since they obviously hate the heroes series, and are directly supporting it's failure.

Well it seems that voters for "yes" and "depends" together are in majority, so lots of people now must be banned...  Btw, yeah, I forgot the option: “I will wait an additional year (after final edition) or so till it goes down to 15 euro or so”. These voters now choose no, which was not my intention, but oh well.

I think normally dollars would just translate to euros. It depends on selling strategy though. A game for 40 dollars would be 40 euro in Europe. So yeah it is more expensive if you buy it in Europe. So basically what I mean is 40 euro or dollar. Anyway an euro is not double the value of a dollar. There is just like 10% difference. 80 euros is certainly too much for this kind of game.

actually voters for "no" and "depends" together are in majority (27), you're assuming everyone who depends is saying yes, goes either way lol
not a good look on a dedicated fan forum, where normally such a poll would get an overwhelming yes lol

Anyway, you'll have to substract one vote from "It depends on what changes ..." and add it to "No" - that's my vote, which I mistakenly cast for the wrong option (that is, the right option is "freaking hell, NO!")
