Yeah, I admit I was only looking for an excuse to bring the spell to heroes pool and that was the best I could remember...

Bonus to this skill is needed becase people dont want scholar. Maybe bonus to spells like town portal. Ans special hero needed too. All skills shuld be in the same power.

A curious thing about Scholars and the HD Mod interface button that allows you to trade with the hero in garisson: while before it was better to use the hero with scholar as a scout or army carrier, so he would interact with others on occasion and then trade spells, now it is much better to just teach him the required skills and then keep him in garisson in the most frequented town and then click the button everytime someone pops in for any reason.
Soon you will have a level 4 Conflux grail in your own town...

That's an interesting statement. Why would that be good?

Because if you choose 8 skills from 28 noone choose worst skills. Why build nonchosed skills?

why do their exist like 10k Yugioh cards if a deck contains at most 60(more likely 40) ?
To enable different playstyles.

Different playstyles?, riiiiight cause you know a lot of people that goes for Learning, Eagle Eye, First Aid and Mysticism? And a lot of people who would never choose Logistics, Wisdom or Earth Magic?
If skills where better balanced, THAT would lead to different playstyles.

No, skills have different values but there isn't a single perfect build for all heroes.
Just look at these (while I admit this time I was too focused on magic schools) examples, wich is the most perfect?
Main
Collect creatures
Keeper of Capitol
Scout
Of course, main will probably work better if is a might hero but sometimes they take so long to learn sufficent Wisdom for travelling they get exceeded by their own helpers...

It is true that more balanced skills would probably lead to more different play styles but having all the same goodness would be worse than current situation. You could pretty much blindly pick the leftmost skill all the time if they are all as good as any other. Having bad skills is a good way to create more strategies as you need to maneuver around the bad ones. Or if you end up with them, try to do something unusual and make them useful. Or level up another hero for main. Lots of choices.
