I'm getting more and more racist game-wise since I started playing HotA (can you guess why?) and I truly love Vido but I still find strange that she wins a beauty contest over Tamika.

Anyway, my votes:
1: Lorelei, by miles.
2: Ciele. Because elves. The fact that she appears in H6 as well has nothing to do with it.
3: Jenova. I like black hair too.
4: Rissa. Those genies scare me and Cyra has an insane look on her face  .
5: Charna. The rest are big nono's.
6: Fiona, best name ever. Pyre is a close second, though.
7: Shiva, by even more miles.
8: Voy. Don't judge me for my tastes, okay?  Here, Styg comes close second.
9: Adelaide. Catherine looks like she will murder you if you dare even look at her once. The rest is okay, but Adelaide looks pretty the way she's dressed.
4 of my votes are also top 1, I see. Okay .

@ galaad and stevie: good god no, not that hag. i forgot i replaced my luna(i'm replacing almost all of the heroes in my game), with this chick(i think she was only active for the campaigns?):
this is the only one i would have chosen. the rest are nearly all boogerwolves.

This gave me an idea of an imagination exercise. Who would have really won the first and second places in their own community based on how their society behaves, reputation, politics, ideology and a little bit of my logic (which isn't necessarily the best one ).
Starting with Erathia, the most likely winner would have been Tyris because she is not like any other "woman of church". She is a fierce hand-to-hand fighter and she is the commander of the Champions of Erathia. The men would be certainly be aroused by that aspect and the women would admire her. Adelaide would be the runner up thanks to her astonishing beauty, but her practices are very common for a woman in an Medieval Age-like empire, which is serving in the name of the Maker.
Moving on to AvLee, while the real life voters opted for Mephala (and for good reasons), and for the previous two places there were another 2 brunettes. I see the elven society to be more conservative and more traditional than the rest of the faction because they are still linked with the nature. I think that the ideal beauty for the elven be the golden hair and bright as the sun skin for the women, like Melodia and the wrathful red of the wilderness for the men and his ability to tame precious and sacred animals, such as the unicorns and pegasus. The second place would be taken by Jenova because the elves always root for their kin and consider themselves to be the best looking race among the known mortal races. A somehow unfair situation for Mephala.
Now, the Bracadian contest would have a different outcome. Let me start with this: the genies are eternal. They would not even participate in a beauty contest like this. They, the genies, are all perfect and equal in their point of view and it would actually be an insult to be compared with another immortal female genie or even worse, with a mere mortal human. So the wizards, men and women alike, would not even dare to include or invite them at the contest, because they fear them. Some out of respect and some by the power of their immortality. Only a wizard is known to have 'enslaved' a genie named Solmyr ibn Wali Bara, and that is the immortal Gavin Magnus. An immortal enslaved by another immortal. Keeping that in mind, only humans and maybe some nagas (which are not represented in the game by any hero) could participate into a beauty contest. The most likely winner would be Josephine, the first to actually animate a stone golem. Imagine how impressed were the wizards by this success and how this changed the way they defend their cities. And that's what they cheer for: brains, not beauty! Now i wonder how much it passed since this discovery. I haven't played any Might and Magic games, but the first wizard-made golem appeared in Heroes of Might and Magic II. It is not that long.
The winner in the scorched lands of Eofol should be Ash, followed up by Pyre. To the kreegans, the it does not matter what race you are. Their promiscuity reached to THAT level, where beauty is only the sexy, the seductiveness and the attitude in a carnivalesque manner. They also fear the efreets, in fact, most of the kreegans are enslaved by them, the efreets are probably the organizers of this beauty contest to feed the vices and sins of theese alien demons and by that, to fulfill all of the seven deadly sins that a demon should practice. The efreets are the real leaders here.
The Nighonians however, would vote their leader, their one true ruler: The Queen Mutare, who would probably be a drake or even dead if the contest would be held when the Confluxes are formed. Next would be Lorelei, Sephinoroth or a beautiful medusa, harpy, female tauren, which are not represented in game.
I think that the IRL outcome for miss Krewlod is the most accurate one. Shiva, the winner, and Orin, the second place. And that is because they're humans, and humans are humans. They're more humans than the Erathaian or Regnan humans. They're the only faction where humans get along with another race and not just that; they see each other as EQUALS because they are very much alike in essence. They're more primal and their ideal of beauty be like ours and by they, i mean humans, ogres, goblins and orcs alike. I'm not saying that we're primal, but that when we clicked on the VOTE button we didn't think about the context. Our decision was not influenced by their ranks, reputation, history or their biography. The wizards would not dare to challenge a genie or a naga from the Elemental Plane or Air, the Erathian humans don't accept other races in their faction unless it's a divine angel, the warlocks enslave their creations and the humans from the swamplands are not that influential in Tatalia and you'll see why.
In the Tatalian contest, it might be the same situation as in all factions but the Barbarians: conflict and prejudice. There are three humanoid ruling races here, in the marshlands: the gnolls, the lizardmen and the humans. While they represent one faction and one army, the Fortress, they were always at a quarrel with each other. Never liking, but accepting each other because they need that in the harsh life in the swamps. They need to work with each other in order to survive, but the humans would be most likely a little marginalized by the other two, since the gnolls and the lizardmen saw the humans different from them, and many. The kingdom of Tatalia was once divided like this, but then reunited by Tarnum in the Heroes Chronicles. It would made sense if female humans in this contest would be voted less, so Adrienne and Verdish would be out of discussion. The winner would be either a child of the despotic ruler of Tatalia, King Tralossk. (despotic = i hope that this word says a lot), but the eldest daughter is unknown by us, so the eleventh one, Styg, would win OR Tiva, a young attractive witch gnoll, i mean, probably considered by the most men and women there, not here, IRL. (*blush*)
I found the Deyjan society to be the most interesting one for me in this situation because they are all... dead. These unbeings transcend beauty (our type of beauty, that is) and they see beyond it, ignoring it completely. And where do they see that? In the soul. Probably a fourth dimension sort of thingy. The new 'beauty' is 'interesting', which is not necessarily our beauty. While the IRL ideal of a woman's dark beauty is the Morticia-type, Vidomina, the necromancers would probably vote somebody else, like Isra or Xsy or whatever. I wouldn't know. I can't see it. (yet!)
Let's include the Regnan Pirates too as they are part of this game now, as well. As a pirate voter, i don't have any beauty filter but the unwritten pirate laws or an official unconventional book written by all the pirates in their gatherings, called the Code of the Pirates (something like the one in the Pirates of the Caribbean). So there is not fairness and no respect among them. The winner would definitely cheat by buying and/or threatening their voters or ask a favor if they know you re in debt to them. I would vote for Leena.
Among the Conflux ranks, there would be no contest. It is not a society. It's an army, a temporal organization, a war camp, a weapon, call it whatever. It's an alliance between some immortal races (genies, elementals) and some mortal races like elves and humans, whose female representatives probably wouldn't top the others in the contests they should take part of (Erathain, AvLeean in our case). But why there are only genie representatives for Bracada (note: Conflux = an alliance between Erathia, AvLee and Bracada HELPED by the elementals in the War of the Reckoning, Armageddon's Blade expansion)? I think that the actual war is between the genies and the efreet on this continent. They are the real power here, the rulers dare I say. Why would they hate each other so that they leave their Elemental Planes and build an army on another planet to fight? I hate that i thought of that and now i can't find out what the devs would have said about this. They went bankrupt so i have to figure it out because that's how i see how the things work here, logically. Maybe there's an answer in the Might&Magic games but sadly they hurt my eyes.
Keep in mind that this is pure fan-fiction that i enjoyed writing and i hope that you enjoyed it too. #Dj
