I'd rather call it remixed. The AJFA songs really need the bass to be heard. Adds so much more awesomeness to an album with such a great tone.
The rest of the stuff is good the way it is. Although, audible bass is always good in my book.
A great example of a good mix is this soundtrack. One of my personal favorites when it comes to OSTs.
