a ceiling fan and a wall fan. catchy tune. i think it needs an electric machinery hum, tho, to complete it.

do you see what I see?
truth is an offense
your silence for your confidence

do you hear what I hear?
doors are slamming shut
limit your imagination
keep you where they must

do you feel what I feel?
bittering distress
who decides what you express?

do you take what I take?
endurance is the word
moving back instead of forward,
seems to me absurd

doesn't matter what you see
or into it what you read
you can do it your own way
if it's done just how I say

independence limited
freedom of (choice)
choice is made for you, my friend
freedom of (speech)
speech is words that they will bend
freedom with their exception...

Well, fred, Metallica is second to Megadeth. (2011)

Secret bureaucracy, it's just a lie
The devil's henchmen, in suit and tie
A sacred brotherhood, an ancient rite
Politicians and the double lives they hide

Violate your rights, no more equality
Surrender freedom, your Social Security
We the people face unconstitutional lies
In greed we trust, in revolution we die

Our founding fathers are rolling in their graves
The land of liberty needs a regime change
Until you no longer know right from wrong
The constitution isn't worth the paper it's written on

Violate your rights, no more equality
Surrender freedom, your Social Security
We the people face unconstitutional lies
In greed we trust, in revolution we die

Screams from the future, warn of calamity
The coming plagues of the new disease
The Illuminati, one world currency
One world religion, one World everything

Violate your rights, no more equality
Surrender freedom, your Social Security
We the people face unconstitutional lies
In greed we trust, in revolution we die

We the people face unconstitutional lies
In greed we trust, in revolution we die
We the people face unconstitutional lies
In greed we trust, in revolution we die...

i'm quite fond of the potential our country has. it's all right there; it just takes some work to harness it.

Agreed.

I'm a bit more hyped up about the potential the whole world has than about the potential a single country may have.

Evil globalist that I am.

you and i have drastically different views on societal potential. what you see as progress, i see as tyrannical control. which, because of my country, what it stands for, and was meant to be, i have an acute issue with.

Your country isn't a monolithic entity, though. It's a union of pretty varied states, which are a conglomerate of different counties.

However, you are militantly opposed to cracking up the union, ALTHOUGH there are vast differences between their constituent states.

We can't afford to let everyone do their thing. Once, for example, Brazil has made Amazonia a big cattle pasture, so that especially US citizens can all eat 10 burgers each day, we are ALL screwed, not just the Brazilians. Or if China decides to put another 20 coal plants online, Russia sinks another crapload of nuclear waste somewhere in Siberia or te Pacific, and so on.

Whether we want it or not, we all in one boat, and everyone has the potential to capsize it.

true enough; that's why there needs to be incorruptable oversight committees on capitalist corporations and government(without ANY outside influence). i'm not for anarchic freedom, but responsible, logical, and morally sound freedom. basically, combine all the best parts of republican/democratic/religious values. without strictly enforced wholesome american values, we won't have the nation our forefathers wrote the blueprints for.

What do you suggest? SAMARITAN (off of Person of Interest)? Aliens? A comittee of 12 Arch Angels? A group of Wizards supported by a bunch of Dragons?
I mean, INCORRUPTIBLE? AND powerful enough to enforce stuff against corps and nations? Can't be humans, that's for sure.
