Autohide Minimap in Hotseat
Hi Folks,
i was wondering if there is any option to autohide the minimap and hero/town bar in local hotseat mode?
By now, we just click on the hide buttons everytime before we end our turns, but sometimes we forget it and so revealing usefull information... thats very frustrating and annoying.
Is there a slight possibility to implement/programm/hack an "autohide minimap and hero/town bar" for the local hotseat?
We play Homm 5.5 btw...

Hello Lemba!
Not a solution but something that may come in handy is adding a button to hide the GUI.
Open this file to edit:
.../My Documents/My Games/Heroes of Might and Magic V - Tribes of the East/Profiles/<PROFILE NAME>/input_a2.cfg
Add this line in the "Common section" (in the beginning of the file):
bind hide_interface 'CTRL' + 'I'
Then at the end of the turn you can click Control + I to hide the whole interface (including minimap) than call your buddy to show him that you are going to end your turn without seeing his info and then leaving him/her to play.
Another press of Control + I will show the interface again.

Thx alot Dredknight, this comes quite handy but is kinda dirty "workaround" .
The best solution would be, that when you end your turns, it hides the interface automaticaly and at the beginnings it shows it again. Is such a solution even possible to implent?
