Sound files
I extracted all the sound files in heroes4.h4r but I couldn't play them or convert them to another file types. Can someone help me how to play and convert them ?

What is a problem? If it is mp3 you must have mp3 player. If vaw you can using eg. irfan. You can convert vaw to mp3 using freeware tool....

I can't play them. I used h4unpacker to extracted the sound files (the pickup sounds, the dwelling sounds,... not the music from music.h4r) from heroes4.h4r and they are .mp3 files but I can't play them. When I try to convert them I always got " We can't convert your files"...

I extract it Mh4096 and play WMP. Maybe you need old version? Mine is 6.49 etc. Try old version WMP.

I used mh4 v0.96 but sill got the error

Or try Vlc media player. I prefer that over wmp.

I think you don't have appriopiate audio codecs or drivers for your sound card. Update your drivers and install for example K-lite mega codec pack (be sure you'll install both video or audio codecs).
