Homm 3 multiplayer (tcp/ip lan) problem
Hi!
I'm trying to play a multiplayer game on my LAN. Both computers have
-Windows 10
-Bitdefender and Windows Firewall
-the same GOG-versions of Homm3
-newest HotA and HD mod.
I'm able to host a game from either computer and the other one can join it, but there's still some kind of a problem in the connection. For example when I send a chat message (in the map selection screen) from my desktop computer to the laptop I'm trying to play with, the messages never get delivered. The other way around works (from laptop do desktop).
If I host from the laptop, I can't get to the map selection because of "waiting other players". When I host from the desktop, I can go to map selection but the laptop never joins the game.
Any suggestions? Quick googling didn't help... Thanks for your help in advance!

why you make your life hard ?
just download gameranger or Tungle and play its easy and its work

why you make your life hard ?
just download gameranger or Tungle and play its easy and its work
If the only thing is to deactive UnPnP , downloading thirdparty programs like that is making your life hard.

Hi, thanks for your answers.
It seems that the problem was that either Windows 10 Firewall/Defender or Bitdefender and their new settings allowing Homm3 through all ports took only effect after a reboot. I really didn't think about that first. Now everything works fine.
