Every hero will be offered wisdom at level 5 so is not like a block anyway. Way before you have guild 3 you will have wisdom if your main is might.

Good point, I was not aware of it. (Although it is level 6 offer and is offered only if the hero has a spellbook, well, doh.)
Back on topic, I actually prefer using the non mass versions of spells Haste and Slow (early battes), because one has to use them intelligently and to think several moves in advance.
On another note, I love situations when I try to kill off an AI enemy last troops without giving him chance to retreat. These are good logical riddles. Again, Haste and Slow can be crucial along with obvious Blind spell.

Where you find this info? Is not correct, he doesn't need any book.

Really? There's a condition in the code, and I made an educated guess for "having a spellbook" check based on several instances. If it is not valid, that must mean some other condition. (Maybe a check for non-magic hero? Not sure.)

Nope, Sal is right, every hero without Wisdom will be offered it every 6th level, at 6, 12, 18 etc.

Probably the only rational condition is the obvious one, it checks if hero already has wisdom.

Yes, it now seems so.
The same check is before the AI decides to take Eagle Eye, but I thought I read somewhere that wisdom is not necessary for EE to trigger (or is it?). So I have disregarded this solution. - Anyway, thanks for the clarification.

Eagle Eye and Scholar depends on Wisdom, but they can appear at level up, even without Wisdom.

Could it be that it differentiates between human Heroes and AI Heroes, as they level up?

No, that is clearly a pure AI evaluation function. Salamandre hit the nail, it's a simple "do-we-have-wisdom-already" check. The same check, which confirms the thing, was put next to the Scholar evaluation (thanks, phoenix).

Actually there might be two conditions, one is if he already has wisdom, the second checking if wisdom was already offered before level 6, in which case it will skip and re-offer only at levels 12,18 and so on, again. So being offered wisdom at level 6 is not a 100% rule, if you skipped it before.

Nope, is six levels after the previous offer. For instance if you get it offered at level 3 it will not appear at level six but two levels latter at 8 and then will be offered again at 14.

I am confused. Isn't it level 9 and 15, then?
The condition is there, obviously. The last offers (wisdom, magic school) are both stored in hero data. The magic heroes intervals are (3,3) while the might heroes have (6,4).

of course it all depends on what monsters or setups of monsters you are facing, but i would say some of my favorite are: slow, blind, curse, weakness, shield, stone skin. I just love the mass effect
I also like those big battles when you have to cast clones and implosions and summon elements in order to win. The feeling is great when you manage to win with a fewer creatures than your opponent.

I think this question is very important when you like more difficult games.
Mostly, all you need is (as an Earth Expert) Slow, Blind, Resurrection or with Castle (as Water Expert)Clone.
Very mighty too are Teleport and Forgethfullness and of course Berserk.
For some years I avoid to use Berserk and to become an Earth Expert, because it is just to easy.

I have to say that more and more my most casted spell is Clone, then what I'm using to destroy them. Is not that I use Slow or Haste less but I tend to cast them only one to three times per combat while clone Archangels can easilly grow to dozens of times in one fight.
