Going to lay out some info, in hopes of spurring people to post.
Four 'wheels', if every one of them is broken.. magic returns to the land. One for each general direction (west, east, north, south) High Priest is sitting right on top of one.. so that will be the hardest to get to. High Druid will be able to tell Elinia that 3 must be destroyed to restore her tree.
In the west all you find are empty buildings (no furniture, etc, no people.. just poof gone). I am giving full reign to post as you like, but I will fill in more information as it goes.

Since you are a druid, you can work yourself into the storyline by being an apprentice to the Grand Druid the group is currently talking to, if you would like.
Give me a few days to recover from yet another hospital trip, and I will post an update of my own. Remember though, you are free to post as the NPC's and such as well.

Well, they are bad. Mine are just horrendous. Though, once, and if, I reach the level to do the wild shape thing, it might help. This line of thought reminded me I need to choose an animal companion for my character. Best do that now.

Known legends about the Herald and the elite.
Herald "The god slayer" - Toward the end of the god wars, the gods had used up a lot of their divine power. Enough that a very strong warrior, not reliant on magic, stood a chance of killing a god. Not just anybody could do it, the gods still were very powerful. One man, a Paladin of 'The original Tyr' became famous for killing more gods then even the other gods (even those of war). He was a true believer, and even when his god could no longer answer his prayers, he fought in Tyr's name (the good tyr, not the tyr that the High Priest follows). Nobody knows what happened, or why, but now he serves the High Priest without question. Though he is a lot older now, he still is the deadliest fighter in the known world. Never been defeated, with more deaths at his hands then some gods of death could lay claim too.. in a different situation, he might have become at least a demi god himself.
The Elite
Only five in number, but whole armies will flee if they enter the battlefield. Again how the High Priest recruited them, is unknown, but they serve the Herald more then the High Priest.
Swiftwind - Rumor has it that he is so fast that by the time you know he has struck you, you are already dead. OOC this means that regardless of initiative he always gets the first attack, and an extra attack after everybody else has gotten a chance to go.
Inferno Bezerker.. his attacks are powerful but unfocused and can be as dangerous to his allies as his enemies. Every round his damage increases, but he gets lest predictable.. basically a 5% chance cumulative that his blows will land on his allies. Once he hits an ally though the percent resets to 0, and the extra damage does as well
Ironfist Defender - Pretty much the opposite of Inferno. He stinks at offense, but his defense is almost impenetrable. Often he will intercept Inferno's attacks, coming away unhurt.
Yin Healer/Monk . His specialty is deflecting damage, wearing his enemy down, and healing.
Yang Necromancer - despite being a necromancer.. she is troubled by her association with the elite..she is loyal, but mostly because of Yin. Her twin brother. Her spells are offensive and raising the dead in nature, relying on Yin and Ironfist to protect her.

Right now, due to a spell malfunction, Witold is rougly three meters tall.(1,5 his normal size), So, there's no way for a small dryad to grab him by the beard.

Ok..but she thinks the rather short Brugd can't hide, but the now almost 9' tall.. broad shouldered Witold can?  And dang.. didn't fall for my ploy.. typically if I am asking about camp..means you probably SHOULDN'T camp.
